Review 2：We arrived late after a long day, we'd been to the football at Veltins Arena nearby and we're looking for a pleasant place to stay. Situated in a beautiful park with lakes in what is otherwise a very urban area, it was idyllic . Staff we're very friendly and accommodating despite us arriving late and eating very late - one of us had food allergies they accommodated for beautifully , and we were given some complimentary extras .

Review 9：The Sound of Music; that's what it feels like staying at the hotelSchloss Berge as this place looks like it belongs on the film set. It'sa charming country house hotel, surrounded by a moat and set in parklandwith beautiful gardens. It was such a pleasure to spend a week there.Their restaurant is truly excellent, very busy and is managed by waiting staff dressed in black and whites who are all properly trained and know how to deliver a fine dining experience. The menu is extensive and although it's not cheap you also come away each time feeling you got real value for money. It's a very satisfying gastronomic experience. It's a family run hotel and you're made to feel very much at home with an attentive staff who were always welcoming.
