Review 1：The bed was a little hard and the shower leaked on to the floor. Otherwise great facilities.

Review 5：There is smoking in the lobby which normally wouldn't be a problem, but because the staircase is open to the floors above, the smoke can get up to the rooms. Fortunately the rooms have a vestibule with a second door to block out the smoke

Review 7：There's nothing really bad about this hotel, although breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of choice and some of the juice was already gone around 9am. Nothing too bad though, it was still sufficient.

Review 13：I was there for two nights. The room was not serviced in between. The door card failed to work when I went back on the 2nd evening. However was quickly sorted. Breakfast was nothing special. Above all, dud not feel this eared as a four star hotel.

Lovely, modern, clean and generously sized room, helpful, pleasant staff and good breakfast offering. Access to the Pilsner Urquell brewery was great--short walk across the bridge. We hope to return one day for a bit longer stay and this will be our first choice that trip.

Review 27：We had a Late Check-Out on new new years day. We just roll out of bed because of the party the evening before. It was 1 PM, breakfast was over but the girl behind the desk was so kind to arrange coffee, fresh juice and some we can eat, for free! That was amazing!

The bathroom is very muzzle heavily on the legs, and the floor is cold, water pressure is bad, and the hot water was necessary to wait for a long time. Breakfast in principle, not bad, but good to keep in mind. Periodically broke the coffee machine.

Review 36：It was not clean, not hygienic at all; the towels smelled and thecleaner didn't clean the towels on the next day although I made itobvious to her that I need to chNge them. She just took them from thefloor and hung them back in the bathroom!! Also at the breakfasttaxable, the the cups were not clean ; they had stains !! I wasshocked really

Review 44：They can't cope with early check-ins any more - this never used to be a problem. After finding my room wasn't ready they changed me to a room on the ground floor. Two dogs (belonging to the hotelier?) were running loose in and out of the rooms while the cleaners were changing the bedding & towels etc. The replacement room was horribly stuffy, the air conditioner didn't seem to work at all. The blinds would not shut properly so privacy was an issue. The shower screen leaked and there were only a couple of a cheap sachets of shower gel provided. A real disappointment - this used to be a great hotel.

It was out the entire day. As a business hotel, this is unacceptable. For this reason, I ranked the facility 2.

They werejust non-existant for most of the part and if they were at the receptionthey would be smoking, talking among them and not even greeting people.The corridors really stink of smoke because of them smoking. Iunderstand it may be legal to do so in the Czech Republic but it looksunprofessional and we're talking about a 4-star hotel here.We stayed there for two nights and they didn't replace our shampoo/body gel supplies. I've been to 2-star hostels where breakfast has been far better than what I had at the Astory hotel. Again: this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, you don't get bags of Tesco value bread and tesco value yoghurts. The "juice" was some kind of uncanny semi-transparent liquid which tasted like... water. The ham was so dried up as if it had been cut three days before.

Review 107：The selection of food at breakfast was not so good as an average 3 starhotel. Bored staff hanging around smoking in reception. The verticalblind in my room was damaged and there as no one to repair it. I wasmoved to another room. At check out the credit card terminal would notfunction, despite staff fiddling with wires and plugs, so cash wasrequested, which I didn't have available. A staff member then droveme to a cash machine at the station to pay the bill. It was fortunatethat I had enough time to deal with this situation.

Review 108：The hotel is relatively new, ideally located close to the station andcity centre and well equipped. Despite being adjacent to a main road therooms are very quiet. The coffee shop is also quiet and comfortable.However, I experienced failings not expected in a 4 star hotel that maybe due to a low level of business.

Review 116：The room was huge and the location, if you are there to visit the brewery as we were, cannot be beat. It's only a 2 minute walk across the street. It is not as convenient to the old town, but we chose the hotel based on it's proximity to the brewery. Restaurant options in the immediate area are limited, but more can be found closer to the old town. Also, the hotel staff was great, parking was easy, and the internet connection was nice and fast.
