Reviews for Hotel Bölts am Park

Review 1:Great location. Close to train station and town centre. Beautiful arts and crafts building. great breakfast. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Review 2:Only a minor criticism - left to put together plate settings, find tea/coffee etc at breakfast on first morning.

Review 3:Location - quiet, upmarket street yet very handy for station. Warm welcome on arrival. Crisp sheets. Coffee / tea making facilities on landing.

Review 4:- I only found out as I was leaving that there was a waterboiler for general use in the hall way (would have used it before otherwise) - The shower was less convenient (shower head was broken and there were separate cold and hot water handles)

Review 5:- The location was perfect for going to the conference center, and also was an easy walk (about 10 min) to the city center - The sound of the whistling birds when I opened the window/door to balcony - This is a very charming hotel that looks like it once was a mansion and has very high ceilings

Review 6:Bed was positioned right at the very entrance opposite the door in a narrow room. If next door neighbor was opening their door or somebody walking outside, you could hear it very well. Not a problem if it's quiet, just did not feel cosy.

Review 7:Located on a very nice quiet street on the opposite to the center side of the station Lovely building Cleanliness Very good breakfast Checking in time from the very morning. Tea and coffee making facilities are outside in the hall

Review 8:Localization - Main train station about 8 minutes walk, Bremen Messe 4 minutes walk, very elegance hotel, breakfast - just very well, Staff - Very high proficiency . Very good equiped room (minibar, cafe, tea). Nice area.

Review 9:Located in a leafy road but not too far from the main railway station. Also within easy walking distance of the number 6 tram to go to either the airport or the University area. The hotel is more like a big old house with interesting furnishings.

Review 10:Hearing the snoring from the room next door.

Review 11:Friendly staff, pleasant breakfast room, an hotel with an individual character.

Review 12:Toilets and bathroom are not on the same floor...

Review 13:Surroundings/neighbourhood

Review 14:Nothing

Review 15:Friendly staff and great breakfast

Review 16:Reception was closed between 11:00-17:00 on Sunday, therefore we could not leave our luggage for 2-3 hours after check-out.

Review 17:Location, breakfast.

Review 18:Atmosphere of the hotel, room, bath room, breakfast, location, everything good!!!

Review 19:Hotel architecture. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice neighborhood

Review 20:great location, will use again

Review 21:Little bit further out than I would have liked.

Review 22:Really nice house and great people

Review 23:Very nice, historical building near great park Burgerpark.

Review 24:The Hotel is in a wonderful old building, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Review 25:Let's face it: it is a b&b, not a hotel! I paid 55 euro for a 6 m2 room without a bathroom (had to use a bathroom on the floor, which was used by other people as well), while I booked a 15 m2 with a bathroom (for 67 euro). I was just too tired to search for another hotel. The sound isolation is terrible, you can hear everyone stepping on the stairs, as well as everyone going to the toilet on the floor above. The receptionist does not speak English, and his emotional explanations about "my preliminary booked room being in improper condition due to a problem with pipes" didn't convince me. The breakfast in the morning, however, was enjoyable, so if you don't care much about the conditions in which you actually sleep - this is an ok-ish place.

Review 26:The location: a very nice and quiet district from the beginning of the 20th century, worth visiting in itself. The building of the hotel is also very nice, especially the dining room, but...

Review 27:no bad comment

Review 28:seemed like a very happy family run buisness, every thing was clean and the breakfast was excellent. great proximity to station, ideal for exploring the city

Review 29:There was unmistekable smell of mould coming from the bathroom in room 11. No visible mold though. The room was clean but the stink was not pleasant (somewhat diminshed when the bathroom was tightly closed).

Review 30:Good position, quiet neighbourhood.

Review 31:Just one issue, but a serious one for me: the size of the bathroom. For tall people its hard to move around.Taking a shower is not a pleasure in such a cramped space. Takes a long time for warm water to reach the shower. Toilet is placed too close to the door, you need to be inventive to sit down there.

Review 32:Clean, modern looking room, not too big but all you need is there. Beds were great. Quiet neighbourhood, no busy road in front of your hotel which may keep you awake (we had a room at the back of the hotel, that helps too). Interior of hotel is pleasant and cosy. Breakfast is good, staff checks regularly if there is still enough choice of food.

Review 33:- small-ish bathroom with no window

Review 34:- family hotel in an ancient house in a residential, quiet neighbourhood - good location - friendly staff - refrigerator in room - good breakfast - pleasant room (decoration)

Review 35:Cosy hotel, spacious room whit loungesofa. Nice breakfastroom and also tasty. Good location near Hauptbahnhof, walkingdistance to restaurants, sights and shops.

Review 36:The only thing which I would mention is the pillows. I like a firm one and those in the hotel were the very old fashioned large soft ones, but our stay was not long enough for me to make an issue of it to the hotel.

Review 37:I've been there before so I knew what to expect and the hotel lived up to expectations.

Review 38:I particularly liked the location, only a few hundred meters away from the station, the hotel is in one of Bremen's most sought-after areas of beautifully refurbished terraced houses.

Review 39:booked a single room which was obviously booked by a smoker previously, smells... the shower was very small. For me with 1,63 hight okay, but a taller person would have real problems in this bathroom

Review 40:nice service at the reception, good breakfast, location acually downtown, but quiet.

Review 41:False advertising and therefore highly overpriced. On booking.com the price was for the 30 m2 double room. The double room we got was hardly 15m2. But the price was the same! For an hour a guy in the reception was trying to convince me that this is OK to promise 30m2, but provide 15m2. We did not get neither advertised room nor price adjustment. Spoiled the pleasure of staying at Bremen.

Review 42:Small quiet, personal hotel with great breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in easy reach of the train station and the city for sightseeing. Would recommend this hotel.

Review 43:The older couple that we were travelling with were a bit challenged bythe stairs.

Review 44:I enjoyed the historic atmosphere of the property. Our room faced thebackyard and it was a nice view. Surprisingly, parking was not an issueas there was adequate street parking. I had to speak German to ourReceptionist as she did not speak English which I actually enjoyedhaving to do. The Breakfast Attendant was very pleasant and the fod wasalso good.

Review 45:Really lovely small hotel! All of the staff were very helpful and friendly - the location was great, nice area, 2 or 3 minute walk from the central train station and tram hub! Room was very cosy and comfortable, and the room we stayed in (number 8) had a lovely big window with a pleasant view of the back garden! Highly recommended!

Review 46:Internet connection is poor.TV only in German.Breakfast is cold and every day the same but generally it is ok. In our room the shower was really small(difficult to move there),the basin was just in the room and the toilet was in a...wardrobe! Very uncomfortable indeed.

Review 47:The location of the hotel is really good.Quiet zone not far from the city centre. Good transport system connecting to the airport directly( tram line 6). The hotel is clean.Free tea.

Review 48:Nothing really.

Review 49:Great location. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Nice breakfast. The hotel is a nice early 20th Century town house with some nice original fittings which are beautiful. The neighbour is also very nice and charming. Don't be put off by it being close to the railway station.

Review 50:Nothing!

Review 51:Great location to visit Bremen. Super breakfast, friendly staff, quiet location in nice residential part of city close to all the historic areas. Good size room with access to tea and coffee on landing. Would visit again for sure!

Review 52:Only some staff spoke very basic English. Does not accept credit cards. Did not worry me but there is no lift. A little way from tourist area, but tram very close by and easy to find.

Review 53:Good value for money. Room plenty big enough. Great idea being able to make a cuppa at any time - every landing had a little tea area, and the room also had a mini bar. Gorgeous breakfast room and for €5, excellent value breakfast.

Review 54:Although the staff was helpful, it was like if you were in the middle of a bunch of neighbors' wives, who knows everything about everyone. They cackled loudly and fervently throughout breakfast, where you prefer to sit quietly with his newspaper and coffee and enjoy the silence. A little too much interference in one's personal space with too high talk - so loud that you could hear it throughout the house.

Review 55:Nice that you can make a cup of coffee / tea anytime. Lovely old house that has a lot of charm and located in a quiet area and yet close to the center. The Internet works as it should and the breakfast is fantastic. Helpful staff.

Review 56:In one room the toilet was in one end of the wardrobe. In the other room the toilet was very close to one of the beds and so lacked much privacy for the occupant and the person in that bed!

Review 57:General atmosphere was very pleasant indeed.

Review 58:Great location close to railway station and city. Rooms nice and clean and good breakfast

Review 59:Can't fault this place

Review 60:Can't think of a thing

Review 61:Just the most welcoming and helpful place to stay.

Review 62:Quiet location, easy walk to town centre

Review 63:The hotel was a bit overpriced.

Review 64:The room was clean and comfortable.

Review 65:Location , friendly staff

Review 66:the staff is great; rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Got here more then in 4-stars hotel.

Review 67:very friendly staff price old villa breakfast location

Review 68:Did not speak English and only took Euros. No American credit cards. No elevator.

Review 69:Good breakfast.

Review 70:The parking is a little difficult.

Review 71:Great location, very good breakfast ( excellent variety), cozy breakfast room. Very quiet. Friendly staff.

Review 72:Shower didn't produce a steady flow of warm water.

Review 73:Nice location, and nicely old-fashioned.

Review 74:Bit cold in the room

Review 75:Warm welcome
