Review 14：internet connection was not working at all in hotel rooms although it was claimed to be available. Only possibility was to benefit from it in sitting room in front of the reception area. However that's a smoking room.

Review 16：Very comfortable and traditional. Loved the card system of free activities. We used the free ebike hire and free train travel. An unexpected bonus. Also they let us check in early and leave our bags there for the day after we checked out.

Review 17：When booking in we were given a wee card which gave you free travel on the rail and bus routes. Given that the hotel was near the village railway station this turned out to be very useful. As for the hotel my wife and I found it very good.The breakfast room and the main dinning room were very comfortable and along with the food and the service we certainly had no complaints.Our room and bathroom, good, also the staff we came in contact with.What more can you say? I may add,my wife and I have over the years have spent some time in Germany and have always enjoyed our stay.

Review 18：This is a very nice hotel. The hotel staff is friendly. The room is clean, quiet and beautiful. It is convenient from here to Titisee. I will recommend it to my friends.

Review 19：No real cooked breakfast option. Very German breakfast (sliced meat & cheese) plus boiled eggs, jams and bread and cereals. Dining room closed on evening of arrival (a Tuesday). Note - Local restaurants seem to take it in turns to close each day, limiting eating out options. Could have done with a fridge in the room to keep food / snacks fresh. Hinterzarten, during our visit, appeared to have a high proportion of older visitors (60+)!

Review 20：Good location, friendly staff. HochSchwartzwald Card provided free trains and many other savings/free entry such as swimming pools and chair lifts etc. Nice rooms, well fitted bathrooms. Rail station at back of Hotel, was not noisy, but very convenient transport to Freiburg and Titisee and for free. Only used the car once in the 4 days.

Review 22：Very convenient position in village centre near small railway station. Well-furnished large rooms - even the single room had an area with a sofa, two chairs, a table and a desk. The communal areas were well-decorated in traditional country style.

Review 23：Perfectly located hotel in a very pretty town. Hotel is only a 3 star but for us we felt it was run better than some 4 star hotels. Super clean rooms, nicely decorated and the restaurant is superb, and packed out every night. Look forward to returning!!

Review 24：- Spa area is spartan; no bathrobes, no drinks; only one sauna operational - no shampoo in the room - basic breakfast, no fruits, no cakes - even though we advised that we were going out for dinner (and we were told to leave the key at the hotel) when coming back before 11pm everything was shut down, main hotel entrance was locked, reception not open; in the end we were able to get in by ringing the night bell which is difficult to locate - not a very pleasant experience on a windy chilly evening - having booked a room at the Schwarzwaldhof we were given a room at the Garni Sonne - no clear information on this when we booked the room - all in all not the value expected for a 3star hotel and the price we paid (compared to other hotels of the same category in the region)

Review 27：This is a nice small hotel run by a family. While it is not the most modern of the places it has lots of charm in it. The restaurant specialises on local cuisine and apparently does it well. Depending on the evening the dinner time can be very busy with the residents of the other hotels of the area as well as locals. The location could not be better in the heart of the town next to the railway station. If you are staying in a room facing the street, you may suffer from the noise of cars, though.
