Review 1：The hotel did not accept the VAT form. The location was in the middle of the town and parking was difficult.

Review 2：The wifi was great. The breakfast was wonderful with a great selection. The staff was friendly and helpful in sending a taxi for us.

Review 3：It had a great breakfast, a nice and attentive staff who helped us out with anything we needed. The room was large and cozy, and the view of the half timber houses was idellic and charming.

Review 4：We have only two slightly negative comments. Only the rooms in the new Annex currently have a safety deposit box in each room; in the original building you need to lodge valuables into the hotel’s safe – no major problem, but note that access to the hotel safe can be limited at night. A safety deposit box in all rooms would be much more convenient. We stayed in late March. The heating was turned off overnight – we prefer a warm room overnight, but it was a little cool in the early hours of the morning (until the heating came back on again).

Review 5：The Arvena Reichstadt is located in the very centre of Bad Windsheim, which is a very pleasant small Bavarian ‘Spa’ town. We stayed two nights in the original hotel building (there is also a new Annex immediately across the street) in very pleasant and comfortable surroundings. There is secure on-site underground parking (at €6.50 per night), but we were able to get one of the 6 free slots immediately outside the hotel (on the street) – luck of the draw (for us). Hint: a sat nav is very useful to find the hotel in the maze of narrow cobbled streets that make-up the lovely old centre of Bad Windsheim. A reasonable choice of different restaurants exists within 100 metres of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. We would happily stay in the Arvena Reichstadt again.

Review 8：The room was extremely hot, so much so that we had to leave the window open (during winter) all night to cool the place off.

Review 10：One minus probably goes to the flat pillow. This tends to be a recurrent problem in many German hotels. There were no additional pillows in the room and the one provided gave very little to no neck support. The hotel does post a picture of a swimming pool on its web site. Keep in mind however that this picture is of the Franken Thermen which are a separate establishment at a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Entrance to the Thermen incurs an additional cost but the hotel does give a discount voucher (3.5 EUR off the listed price). The hotel also boasts a sauna but we found this to be closed.

Review 11：Hotel Arvena Reichstadt is a nice hotel. That’s the bottom line of our two night stay this August. We were given a room on the first floor and were delighted to find that the room was spic & span, that it had a nice ample balcony with chairs and a table and that the view from the balcony over the inner, verdant court of the hotel framed by the woodwork facades of the surrounding houses of Bad Windsheim was truly relaxing. We slept with our windows open at night and were struck by the sublime quiet outdoors. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the small, quaint center of Bad Windsheim and if you park your car in the hotel’s garage (6.5 EUR/day) then you don’t need to worry about parking tickets. We ate dinner twice at the hotel and were satisfied with the standard. We ate outdoors on the terrace as the weather was so enticing but on worse days you can take take dinner in the restaurant of the hotel housed in what used to be an old school and is now aptly named ‘Alte Schule’. The food was of good quality albeit on the expensive side compared to food prices in the rest of the town or in Germany in general. All staff that we had contact with were extremely welcoming and guest oriented. The rooms are not exuberant in decoration but not exactly Spartan either. They could best be described as comfortably functional. The bathroom had all the mod cons that can be expected and was likewise very clean. The breakfast area was pleasant and the range of food options was sufficient – again without being abundant. All in all a good sensible hotel with a good price-quality ratio and a charming atmosphere.

Review 12：Internet was limited and every day, you had to get a separate passwordto get online. Couldn't download movies due to limited bandwidth.Maid came to clean when we asked her not to. No ac made our stay alittle uncomfortable.

Review 13：Everything was perfect and made our last week in Bad Windsheim somemorable. Wait staff, housekeepers, concierge and receptionist were allextremely friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent German and Englishand helped us with several requests. Breakfast was fantastic and roomwas quiet, yet perfect location next to all amenities in town.Couldn't have asked for better experience!

Review 14：My wife and I travel throughout Germany on business. We stayed at Arvena for an entire month, and were very comfortable the whole time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is fantastic, which is important when you are living in hotels. In Europe, this was the most comfortable we have ever been in a smaller boutique hotel.
