Review 1：It is a nice resort but Bad Saarow does not offer many alternative restaurants/café's nor anywhere to go. We would probably seek somewhere with a larger city nearby. Fürstenwalde was claimed to be a lively city with a lot of shops - a big disappointment as nothing was going on in the city at all!

Review 3：The waitress in the restaurant didn't let us take up a table, 'cause it was for 2 persons and we were accompanied by our kid, nevertheless there were some big tables with only a couple of punters. Anyway, their behavior was quite unfriendly and we had to wait outside.

Review 5：A super hotel with excellent staff and facilities. Good food is served at the Pechhütte and for something extra like a Candlelight Dinner there is The Dependance. Highly recommended for people who just want to relax.

Review 6：Perfect location near by lake, one hour from Berlin by train and 15-20 min from train station by foot in the nice park. You will see the lake by the way. I booked room with bath, but our room was with sower only. Reseption kindly changed the room with any stress. Good food, perfect sauna, spa, service, swimming pools inside and outside. Welcome apples :-)

Review 7：The restaurants were a bit pricey, but quite good. The pillows and beds in the room were not that comfortable. The air conditioning unit was very loud, which was unfortunately on a very hot weekend.

Review 8：The staff at the desk and spa were extremely friendly and helpful. The gym and pool facilities were very good. Spa services were excellent and prices reasonable. The on-site restaurants were surprisingly good, if a bit pricey. Breakfast and room were all as expected. Overall and excellent stay.

Review 14：Hotel staff had issues of speaking English. Not good value of money, for same price I would get a business class room or junior suite in nearly any hotel in Germany. Hotel restaurant and other restaurants close the kitchen at 10pm (even in the weekends!).

Review 18：Food at the Dependance was sub-average for the price and also for being the "fine dining" option for a 4 star restaurant, also in general the service staff at the restaurants attached to the hotel was quite slow and non attentive. The hotel staff was lovely.

Review 20：The soundproof of the door is excellent, and walls look so solid, but unfortunately you can hear TV from room next door (o maybe from room above?) Also we heard a dog barking somewhere in the hotel When we broke a mirror accidently and reported it to the reception, it was clear, that staff is not surprised at all and this is quite common incident there It’s not a big deal, but just a tip: be careful with small mirror in the bathroom (better do not touch it at all), cause it falls from it’s stand so easily...

Review 21：Our room was spotlessly clean and very modern. SPA facilities are excellent. Breakfast is good too!:) The staff is really helpful and friendly. And we enjoyed the location very much - you can have long romantic walks on the lakeside:)

Review 22：You have to pay for the parking, which is fine. But the parking is notvery big, so easily filled up and there is no other location where youcan park your car. Very hard beds. Unfortunately there was a group ofvery noisy guest in our wing, which caused us to skip sleep between 1 amand 4 am. Nightcrew acted on our call right away, though complaining atthe reception the next day left us feeling a bit dissapointed bcs we hadthe feeling we were not taking seriously.

Review 23：The Spa area is great. The location is great to do outdoor stuff,especially with the Abora (Climbing) close to it. The restaurant wherewe had our dinner was nicely located (good view at the lake),had greatfood and excellent staff. The headwaiter really knew his game!!

Review 24：The spa side was excellent...but the rooms were really poor for being a 4 star hotel.....the breakfast was really poor....you find that kind of breakfast even in a 2 star hotel...we were really not happy with the prices at the spa restaurant/ coffee bar...a normal bottle of water almost 10euros....thats ripping off people!!!!!! The rooms had the most uncomportable bathroom...it was good enough for the SNOWHITE little friends....and lets not talk about the hairdrier...was really disappointent...plus we never ate at the inner restaurant as really expensive!!!!!

Review 26：No brochures printed in any language but German ! Why ? For a hotel of this standard not acceptable, in all of Europe brochures are printed in at least 3 languages, a pity ! I kept having to ask for translations at the spa

Review 29：we had an exellent holiday at esplanade hotel. there is a good spa area with two simming pools and a relaxation room and sports facilities. we rented bicyles and explored the area and the cities aroud the Sharmutzelsee lac. there is a beautiful forest and it is great to walk or ride a bicycle in the countryside or to rent a boat etc.

Review 30：The hotel was great, and the staff helpful. Bad Sorrow is a really nice spot. Bad Saarow is like an East German Sunriver, Oregon. It was a beautiful spot with lots of activities, lots of great biking and walking trails, and great eating spots. I would rank this as a great destination. It is also just an hour's drive from a very interesting big city.

Review 31：It would be good to arrange the system with half-pension also (let say breakfest and supper). I don't know is the restorant Dependence is a part of the Hotel but the structure of this restorant is not convenient, the menu is poor and prices are hugh.
