Review 1：We were rather disappointed with the standard of our room which had a sink IN the room and a tiny bathroom with toilet and shower. I hope not all rooms are like that, we might have been just unlucky. It could do with some necessary updating. As we had stayed in various hotels during our trip, this room came second to last.
Review 2：The hotel is outside the town of Heimbach and if you seek a bit of peace and quiet that's the place to stay. It's a short drive from Heimbach and Mariawald Abbey, the only Trappist monastery in Germany which is worth visiting. Dinner was extremely good and so was breakfast.
Review 3：Receptionist's attitude, owner's attitude. Too noisy could hear people in next room, showering, lots of door slamming in the hotel,room had been refurbished, was fine, bathroom had not & particularly the shower was pretty disgusting although clean.
