Review 1：This is the best place ever. The hotelier and staff were so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. They even got me talking German (I am English!)....Thank you for the perfect stay.

Review 2：The location is quite remote if you don't have a car. This does restrict your choice of dinner places (there are only really 2 places in the village). The hotel compensates by providing a public transport pass, but the bus does not run all that often and the last bus leaves the other side of the river (where there is greater choice for dinner) at 7:20pm, so you have to have eaten and be down at the bus fairly early. There may be a ferry (plus walk) but I couldn't make sense of the timetables! My room got very warm; I could cool it down reasonably well depending on the evening's temperature. The car park lights shone into my room - to avoid this ask to get a room in the larger house or not backing onto the carpark. Also note: my booking said I would get a 'king bed' but it was not the size of an American king bed. It was fine for me (I just booked a single room) but something to note when booking.

Review 3：The hotel is very quiet because it is on the outskirts of a very small village (though see down-side to this in my "dislike" answer). There is an extensive and healthy buffet breakfast. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful (sounds like they speak good English too; I spoke German with them). The hotel is a great base for hiking or cycling in the Saxon Switzerland area. You get a free travel pass for bus and train in the area, which helps you to get to the sites and hiking trails easily, even if you don't have a car. You receive a lovely personalised welcome note from the staff.

Review 4：1. no opportunity to order food in the evening - we didn't want to leave our dog alone in the room, but we could not order anything. The next delivery service is in Dresden or Prague, I guess. Otherwise there are a couple of restaurants nearby + there is a store and a butcher shop very close

Review 7：The hotel staff was very helpful with us. We had a problem with the rented car and they send us to the nearest garage that repair it very good and cheap. The hotel give a feeling of home. The breakfest very reach.
