Reviews for Hotel zur Talsperre

Review 1:I liked all - the hotel, the hosts, the town! The hotel is very beautiful and comfortable as a home. The hotel has a long history but it is equipped so as you have no any discomfort. The host are very intelligent, hospitable and tactful people. The tasty food and the amiable atmosphere. Very beautiful surroundings.

Review 2:A lot of traffice noise during the night prevented me from opening the windows for fresh air. The Stube closed at 22:30 hrs. which was way too early given the fact that my room neither had a TV set nor Wifi reception.

Review 3:The dinner was cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the Stube was also very good compared to the ill-furnished restaurants elsewere in the village.

Review 4:No TV on the room, poor furniture. Breakfast could be extended with optional yoghourt/fruit

Review 5:Cleanliness is top and friendly people at the reception.

Review 6:Wifi was sometimes not available due to the German system. The Hotel owner could not do anything about it. He tried but it did not result in better reception. Most of the time Internet was accessible in the lobby.

Review 7:Family-run hotel. Friendly. Great location in a lovely, small, quiet and most of all beautiful village. Diner was value for money.

Review 8:Brilliant hotel, very biker friendly and the food is fantastic too. highly recommended.

Review 9:Old interior

Review 10:Location

Review 11:Some traffic noise as it was close to street.

Review 12:Friendly staff who spoke Dutch, English, German, French... Lovely location in the centre of the little town with views of castle and high street from my windows. Single room with double bed.

Review 13:I didn't like the hotel much, they asked us if 2 couples would mind sharing a bathroom, but didn't mention that the one couple would have to walk through the other bedroom to get to it. The 3rd bedroom was tiny by any standards. At breakfast I was told off for taking 2 pieces of fruit to eat which annoyed me, as I was the only one of the 6 in the group that wanted fruit for breakfast. I did expect a small discount for sharing a bathroom but that didn't happen either. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Review 14:The castle, very close was interesting, and the rurtalspierre is a good place to visit. The hotel provided us with a garage for the motorcycles.

Review 15:The churchbells very close was ringing every hour during the day & night, Also from 0600 to midnight, every 15th minute in addition. I needed to sleep as i was travelling from Spain to Norway by car - and at this place it was not possible.

Review 16:Staff spoke German and English, Food was nice (but a bit more expencive than expected),

Review 17:Great people made us feel most welcome nothing was to much trouble for them. food top notch, will be going back for sure .

Review 18:Komfor i smještaj koji smo imali uz prevelike cijene.

Review 19:Usluga i ljubaznost osoblja je na vrhunskom nivou.
