Review 1：We did not have a king size bed, we had 2 single beds instead. Not appropriate for a couple. Plus we asked for a large bed sheet/cover instead of the 2 small ones and we didn't get any.

Review 2：Excellent location. Very clean, very warm welcome and good staff. We would come back, except for the bed problem (see below).

Review 3：Rooms had modern decorations but could use basic improvements like a new coat of paint and carpets. A bit noisy (noise from both outside, as well as corridors and other rooms).

Review 4：Decent walking distance from most things in central Mannheim. Relatively inexpensive.

Review 5：Tea and coffee accomodation was welcome. Bathroom equipment fabulous. Beautiful furniture and stylish lamps create a rather difficult ambiente to some chains with the never changing look.

Review 6：the staff were very impolite. in my entrance I had to change my room three times, because the first room was full . the second room was dirty. and as apology for this inconvenient they did not want to do any thing!!!. and we had to force them to give a better room to me. any way the rooms are dirty and dark in compare to any four stars hotel. and it is not similar to its photos in the booking website. the hotel does not really worth the money and the number of the stars. i wish i took some photos to add to this comment.

Review 7：Most members of staff were helpful but one female staff member appeared annoyed when asked to serve refreshments. The restaurant is under refurbishment and maybe the reception is not for refreshments but its not my fault. I didn't take breakfast as it was too pricey and there were many great eating places nearby!

Review 8：Comfortable, clean hotel with unusual design to rooms.

Review 9：Rooms and corridors very dark ( difficult to see room numbers and apply make up!) Would have liked more than one pillow, did ask but to no avail. Room was extremely hot, no air conditioning, knew this before so asked for a fan on check in which helped a little. Fridge not cold enough and heat from it made the clothes in the wardrobe heat up! Fridge blocked the wardrobe so dresses would not hang freely.

Review 10：The location was excellent just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre. Free Wi fi was very good and very efficient. Staff helpful when we couldn't park at hotel and advised of nearby car park. Liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Review 11：No air conditioning, and you'd have to ask for a fan before it's brought to your room. Lady at reception accepts payment by cash while credit card used for booking online was being charged, silly mistake that could ruin one's holiday.

Review 13：Staff is not friendly, they did not like to be asked too much---a German thing maybe? The room cleaning was not great. The room smelled. The lack of air conditioning and ventilation is a problem. The beds were not great either. On the reservation it said king size bed---instead we had two single beds attached and my kid was trying to sleep on the middle part. If you have a bigger kid in the middle, it would be hard to sleep.

Review 15：Instead of a large bed, I had two small beds put next one to each other. The wifi connection was bad. There was a noise in the room that did not let me sleep. I had to use earplugs. I could not figure out what it was; maybe the fridge, but not sure. The shower had this ugly plastic curtain that touches you while you shower.

Review 17：you can hear every noise from outside and next door. A deodorant smell woke me up from next room it was like he use it in my room unbelievable. Room is fine but small. Not worth for money. Pillows were smelly though.

Review 19：The staff was rude. The cleaning personel didn't show up the first day. So the room was not cleaned. The second day they showed up early, and didn't respect the privacy sign on the door. The aircondition was not working. Neither was the toilet. Stay away. There are many better choices in Mannheim.

Review 24：Loved the location right in the heart of Mannheim. We hired a car and drove from Frankfurt Haan and had an amazing long weekend. Parking underground which was amazing. Great comfort and hotel for the price especially if staying a few nights.

Review 36：Near to morning market, walking distance to tram, mosque just near buy and alot of halal food restaurant. With tram i can explore Mannheim with day ticket to Wasserturm, Luisen park and shopping in the quadrat city.

Review 37：We were greeted with a curt remark from a staff member when I asked where the reception counter was located. It looks like a bar. The man on duty at the desk was busy watching a soccer match and never greeted me or made any effort to be hospitable. It was very hot in the rooms (we had 2) but the traffic was so noisy that we could not keep the window open. Then next morning they said Oh we had fans. Well they could have told us that when we checked in.

Review 38：• The double bed are 2 single beds put together and do not stick together. • Very warm in the room and no AC • opening the windows was not possible due to too much noise outside. Both combined made it very difficult to sleep.

Review 48：Hotel pictures are far from the truth. Rooms are small, in very poor shape and in dear need of repair, and construction on the top floor above our room caused us to get little to no sleep. Contacted front desk and they were less than helpful and did not return my phone call as promised. Overall very disappointed and will not stay in a Wyndham again. For my job, I travel the world on business and this was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Many of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed in also came at a lesser price as well.

There were free drinks in the mini-bar and they offered what looked like a nice breakfast buffet ( for a fee )which we did not try since we met friends in the area for breakfast.

I was impressed by the variety and quality of the continental breakfast and the friendliness and support of all the hotel staff. I would recommend the Wyndham Mannheim to anyone.

Review 57：Cigarette butts and cigarette smoke littered the entrance. The carpets in the common areas from the elevators to your room were not vaccumed before or during our entire stay from December 17-26, 2014!
