Review 1：We booked the room for two people and there were only linens and towels for one person.

Review 2：Location was excellent. Restaurant right next door was amazing.

Review 3：The Anna Amalia was a great place to stay in the center of Weimar. There are a number of restaurants close to the hotel and also a grocery store and the railway station is about a 15-20 minute walk, though bus service is also available for those who don't want to walk.The staff were very friendly and made me feel at home.

Review 5：The bathroom was a little cramped and the tub was even worse, slippery. I was counting my blessings every time I didn't fall. I really worried about my mom, who has limited mobility. For her, it was not safe. The mattresses were barely comfortable. A mattress pad would have made it a little better. The tv and tv remote did not work well. maybe the button mechanisms were worn out. No small dorm fridge. Despite all of this, I would choose this hotel again. I can always purchase a cheap bath mat.

Review 6：Location, location, location! So close to everything of interest to us (my mom and I), including our favorite restaurant La Tarte.

Review 7：The wireless internet was slow, much slower than in Spain! This is not necessary. Check out was a bit annoying because one person, doing her best, was dealing with a stream of check outs and answering many phone calls.

Review 9：The staff were really helpful and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome and when we couldn't park at the hotel itself, the staff gave clear directions on a nearby 24 hour parkhouse. The location is right in the heart of the old town which is great for visiting the sights. The breakfast was fabulous with hot bacon and eggs, meat, cheeses and fresh fruit salad. The coffee was fresh too.

Review 10：This is a very nice hotel, placed close to the main street and the Goethe Theater. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast and the atmosphere are excellent. May-be the hotel is especially suited for students of Weimar´s cultural treasures.

Review 13：Finding the hotel is a challenge what with the one way streets and pedestrian only streets. There was not street parking available only the hotel garage and a reservation is needed. The street noise to our room was very loud at night. Do not get a room that faces the street in front of the hotel. The shower was quite small.

Review 15：If you have the windows on the side to to street, there could happen, that you can hear a lot of noisy from a near pub- they do not respect 22 hour as a night quiet at all.

Review 17：This is not the hotel's fault. Across the road from our room was an inn where people socialized loudly until 3.00 or 4.00am. Closing the window did reduce the noise enough so we could sleep.

Review 72：I was surprised in the afternoon by the entrance of a guest in my room. At the reception they made a mistake and gave my room to a new guest. I had to leave the room to clarify the situation. After correcting the error, the receptionist did not apologized. Neither to me nor to the other guest. At night, when I returned to the hotel to sleep, both room cards did not work. The receptionist had canceled the cards when they delivered the wrong room and had not yet corrected the error. Again, I had to go to the reception and once again not a simple apology. If apologies were needed, it seems that those who should have apologized would be me and the other guest. I apologize here for having chosen the Anna Amalia. I will never repeat that mistake.
