Review 5：We always stay here when we're in my home town, Mannheim. It is very convenient to all parts of the city and there is easy access to the autobahn in all directions. The staff is very helpful and always friendly. I even got a small bottle of champagne and a card, when they saw that it was my birthday. So thoughtful.The rooms are very well appointed and have a kitchenette with fridge, which is always welcome. Beds are comfortable and the shower is great!. We had a parking spot in the garage for 4 Euros a day, which is fantastic for big city parking.

Review 6：The accommodation was more than adequate for my needs - I made no use of the kitchen facility in the room. The receptionist was most helpful with suggestions for activities and went so far as to print off train times &c for me.

Sweet rolls, muesli, salami/ham or cheese sandwiches can be a bit monotonic after several days of a stay, provided you do not usually eat two of those varieties (muesli and sweet rolls in my case). The road can be noisy during the day, although you can mute that perfectly by closing the windows.

Review 18：This hotel is really nice... but the room I expected to stay in... the picture of the room next to the option I chose.. was not availible... so I got a much smaller room that was NOT on the website.. the only warning was "The following room occupies less than 2 people" I feel like I have been bamboozled... the balcony was extremely small... the rooms with a balcony are only available on the 1st and 5th floor... and the rooms that they are being pimped on the booking.com site AND on their main site are ONLY on the 5th floor and there are ONLY 2 of them.This itty bitty room does have a full kitchenette and an ipod docking station which sounds throughout the small room and has an extra speaker in the bathroom... very nice touch.The room was relatively clean with a few dust bunnies hopping around... I requested a microwave and the microwave I got was dusty and had a food stain, but cleaning it wasnt too much of a hassle. The room has blackout curtains as well as electronic shutters... another nice touch.. BUT... before I went to sleep I made sure the shutters were closed... because I was there to relax and sleep in... when I woke up the shutters were opened and the room was kinda bright... i thought maybe I hit the button by accident during the night... but nope... they went up automatically because when i tried to put them back down they would not budge... must be on some kind of timer to keep the guest from enjoying a day of sleeping in. The bed has a foam mattress seemed soft not too firm. The heat seemed to be fine...The bathroom was small but well equipped. The shower was AMAZING!! great water pressure with a nice wide shower head.WIFI was very good and fast. The only annoyance was that once you disconnect from the internet you have to type everything back in... it doesnt remember your connection... so storing it on a notepad on your tablet or phone will come in handy instead of having to get up and look for it everytime you need it.

Review 38：The temperature of 28.8 C in my room! No way of contacting anyone to operate of what looked like an air condition. Was told in the morning that wasn't an AC at all. Wifi only for 1 device.

Review 40：When I connected WiFi, the security alarm appeared on my PC screen. Internet Explorer couldn't connect, but Google Crome could connect with redirect alarm somehow. At the beginning, it was a little bit difficult to find a parking place. After finding out, it is no problem for me.

Review 42：- Temperature: guests cannot really control the temparature in the room. This is my second stay at this hotel. The 1st one was in the summer and it was hot without any air conditionning. The 2nd visit was in the winter and it took a while to warm up the room. - Internet: the internet is free and fast. However some phone's apps that use location would not work as they could not determine the wifi network's location. Furthermore the hotel uses randomly generated user ids and passwords that are hard to remember and need to be regularly punched in to access the internet.

Got upgraded to a better room on my second stay there. - Comfort: the room is comfortable and includes a kitchen. Shower has lot of water pressure.

Review 45：This is a fabulous hotel for a short or longer stay in Mannheim if you're not concerned about the fancy frills of an extensive breakfast menu, but want great comfort, cleanliness, service and convenience. The front desk staff are very friendly and most obliging; nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is filling, the coffee is hot and the self-service in the breakfast room works well. The rooms are spotless and roomy.It's in a great location near the Wasseturm, a 10 minute easy walk to the station (even with bags), one street over from the main shopping plaza and trams.

Review 46：As it is near the main street, it can get pretty noisy in the afternoon/evening and also late night. But other times, it is quiet. (For a solo traveller, you might find some noise pretty comforting so that you don't feel too lonely, lol!)

Review 47：I like the bathroom with power shower and has speakers connected to the the iPod dock. That was awesome! The fixtures are also eco friendly (lights lit on/off by touch ==>totally awesome!) The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and a lot of power sockets (also great!) The location is good as it's about 6-7mins walking from Mannheim Hbf and a lot of food/shopping amenities nearby. It is also close to the Rosengarten tram station and facing the Water Tower. It is suitable for a weekend/business traveller (on a budget). And there's free breakfast as well!!
