Review 1：I asked a member of staff to check me in and she just ignored me. Took 40 minutes of waiting at reception to be checked in.

Review 4：Building itself is attractive and the hotel is well positioned to start one of the most popular walks in the area. Breakfast is a varied buffet. Easy walk down to town, tough walk back up.

Review 5：Transport logistics - be sure to prepare your trip to the hotel. S-bahn goes from Dresden to Bad Schandau. Then you need to cross the river - by a ferry service (works until 22-00). Then you need to go uphill to the hotel located in a village called Ostrau. Last bus leaves for Ostrau about 16 (or 17). There is a lift from Bad Schandau to Ostrau (until 20), but we did not try it. In the evening we had to walk uphill by foot for about 1 hour - but it was still great and we enjoyed the nature.

Review 6：Large quiet room, very clean, very fast and stable internet, staff helpfull and nice, good breakfast (standart breakfast hot dishes + standart cold snacks). Located in a small village at the top of a hill in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland national park. Very authentic and quiet neighborhood, hotel was occupied only by local (german) residents.

Review 18：The wifi connection was very slow. Hotel was up a big hill from Bad Schandau so it was a bit of a walk to get around since we didn't have a car, but the weather was nice and it was good exercise. Maybe something to note in the winter though if you're also without a car.

Review 19：Mattresses were really comfortable, staff was nice and helped explain how to get places via the limited public transit (we made it work!), breakfast included and called me to ask what I could eat as a vegan.
