Review 1：Not that easy to find the place, even with sat-nav. Only the last 50m revealed recognisable view. An English-free zone, esp on 40 channel TV. Staff tried hard and we managed fine, but complex issues would be a problem.

Review 4：Never before,we 've got a large nice suite #16 with a huge walkin bathroom without particular request. Countryside was very peaceful.Breakfast was excellent.

Review 7：Hot weather necessitated leaving the windows open for cooling night airs but this allowed traffic noise to spoil an otherwise perfect rest stop.

Review 8：The hotel is located an easy drive from the motorway, in a small rural town. We were shown into a beautifully furnished large room with an equally large and fantastic bathroom. The owner was most helpful even recommending a superb restaurant about a five minute drive away. The breakfast consisted of a wide selection of items and was an excellent example of a complete continental breakfast.

Review 12：Guests in the next-door room in the main house complained that they could hear every word in a conversation spoken in our room at perfectly normal conversational volumes. Only when we whispered was the neighbor happy. So I'm guessing paper thin walls. The nearby Emily building is better.

The recommended restaurant was 15 mins drive away and excellent, but not what I wanted after a day in the car. Best described as a very, very upmarket B & B.

Excellent restaurant 2km away - Alten Brauhaus - great food and again dog friendly. Incidentally, a very convenient location if visiting the Nurburgring race circuit.

Review 18：we were travelling as a group of six when we arrived we were very impressed with the hotel we asked if they could book a table for us at a nearby restaurant, ten minutes later they told us that we would be collected by the owner at eight o'clock and we were given a ride to the restaurant and back at no charge they were just happy we enjoyed the meal!

Review 22：This was a stop over to break our journey to the F1 at the Hockenheimring. Our room was nicely furnished with a large shower room. The Hotel does not do evening meals but there are restaurants within a short drive that the hotel owners recommend. The breakfast was good and the people were friendly and helpful.

Review 49：Could not fault this hotel in any way. The room and facilities are worthy of a 4 star. The only minor drawback is not doing evening meals. However there is an excellent restaurant very close by.

Review 62：We arrived late - around 22:00, which was no problem. We stayed at thesmall annex which was comfortably as we didn't have anybody elsepassing our room. The bathroom was very large and comfortable. Thebreakfast in the morning was good, different types of bread, jams,cheese, sausages. There was not that much warm food for breakfast,except some eggs. Also the checkout process was really quick. In short,an excellent hotel to stay for business, or to stay a night whilevisiting the nearby cities of Koeln. Access to motorways a61 and a4 isvery quick from the hotel.

Review 63：A very well located, friendly and clean hotel, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an overnight stop just off the motorway - lovely family run hotel and excellent breakfast.

Review 64：Our double room with pleasant country views didn't exist, contrary to your room description. The only window to the room had the security shutter 3/4 closed and together with net curtaining made the room very dark and with no outlook at all, very unsatisfactory. Minor point, I would suggest two casual chairs rather than one seeing as its a double room. I expect because this room overlooks the conservatory dining area, the owner has chosen the privacy of the diners rather than the occupants of this room. Simple solution would be to blind the glazed wall facing onto the room in question. After all the conservatory has a glazed roof and walls and won't suffer with a light issue! I also think that a screen could be erected between the room and the laundry room next door. Possibly all the other double rooms are fine, not this one, hence the cancellation.

Review 66：Sadly, this is the first time we have had problems with a hotel booking. There were two of us travelling and two rooms booked, a single and a double: each room with a single occupant. On arrival, we were greeted by a gentleman but given only one key. We stated that we had two rooms! Then the lady came up to the desk and said that there were no doubles. We said this was not a problem and we would take two singles instead. She said ok and we were allocated a single room each (two in total). On leaving, we paid for the two single rooms and were about to leave in the car when the man came out and knocked on the car window, saying we had not paid enough as the booking was for a single and a double!! We kindly reminded him that when we arrived, we were told that a double had not been available, so we ended up using two singles, therefore what we had paid for was correct.

Review 67：The hotel itself was nice and comfortable and the breakfast ok too. Plenty of places to park as it was very secluded and away from everything. We found good eating places in the evening 2 kilometres away in the town. (The hotel only does breakfast).

Review 69：The hotel was a lovely, well-kept friendly place. It suited us well as we wanted somewhere close to Cologne but not in the city itself. The area is quiet which was what we wanted but might not be to everyone's taste. It was a comfortable stop-off point on our journey.
