Reviews for Nové Adalbertinum
Review 1:The reception area of the hotel could maybe do with an upgrade, as it does not live up to the same standard as the rest of the beautiful building, the impressive stairways or the stylish rooms.
Review 2:Fantastic location and a beautiful historic building, and we had a very nice and quiet room. Hradec Kralové was a fantastic town to visit. Almost as beautiful and interesting as Prague, but at a fraction of the cost. This also applies to the hotel, where you get great value for your money.
Review 3:awfull service personal at breakfast, and... Discovering today that in paid CZK there was a clear mistake/discripency between the price finally invoiced in CZK (nearly the double) and the one annouced in euro at booking from Booking.com ! I should have check, I know, but even.... !!!
Review 4:the situation, the extraordinary building, and the very large and comfortable room, inlcuding a dressing room and a comfortable though small shower bathroom, the parking, some of the very pleasant people (reception)
Review 5:Maybe the breakfast could be served for 1/2 an hour longer during the week.
Review 6:Except from the obvious - great location, fine breakfast, nice staff and clean room - I liked the building adopted with historical value but moderated and met all my expectations.
Review 7:Unfortunately no air conditioning in the rooms (we stayed on the 3rd floor maybe lower floors have i dont know)
Review 8:Perfect Location. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Wifi Works perfect in all areas.
Review 9:Amazing location in the middle of history. Very helpful staff. Wifi works perfectly in all areas.
Review 10:unfriendly welcome at check-in: my question to give us a room to the back of the house and a parking lot was quite brusquely denied ("hotel is full" - which was not true). A quick check would have shown that we had quiet rooms to the back anyway...
Review 11:VERY large room, nice view to the city
Review 12:Our room was really nice, with stylish antique-looking furniture, a comfortable bed and a flatscreen TV. We very much enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The hotel is right at the historic main square, which is very convenient.
Review 13:The staff could be a bit more obliging and cooperative; the hotel has a car park, but it is quite expensive.
Review 14:The hotel is located in the main city square in a beautiful baroque building.
Review 15:The Hotel should have hair dryer in each room. Who takes on the business trip hair dryer!? WI-FI is very, very bad. Don't plan to use this hotel for business trip. Parking problem: must be paid even by night. Why?
Review 16:Staff was not very friendly, breakfast was very poor (fruit yogurts were 2 weeks after their expiration date, fruit on display was rotten). After arrival we were welcome by a huge piles of dirty sheets and blankets in the corridor in front of the rooms! The whole building smelled strangely...not what you would expect for the money....seemed a bit like a state-owned property where nobody cares about what the customer thinks and whether he will come back....we will not.
Review 17:Room was spacious and comfortable even for 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Central location was convenient.
Review 18:We were there in October and it was not possible to sitoutside in the very nice courtyard anymore. The playground was not there anymore, as well.
Review 19:This former monastery building has character, the rooms where very nice. Great value for money.
Review 20:Be careful in a bathroom: there is an acute angle of the shower cabin and it is high, you can get hurt if there is a wet floor.
Review 21:It is situated in a historical building right on the main square, easy to find. We've got a large, light and clean room. Good breakfast. Private parking in the yard. Free city map.
Review 22:Nice hotel, wonderfull location!!
Review 23:no A/C, no drink water,
Review 24:location,
Review 25:Perfect stay, superb location, nice staff, good breakfast. The city is nice, several eating locations nearby.
Review 26:Would love an electric kettle & a mini fridge too would be good but not crucial.
Review 27:Spacious bedroom, wonderful breakfast, location, parking
Review 28:Clean, well located and fairly priced
Review 29:In the heart of Hradec Kralove
Review 30:very weak signal for wi fi, we lived in the 2nd floor
Review 31:good location in the centre parking inside (costs 150 CZK) good breakfast
Review 32:bit outdated single rooms, with only czech tv channels. at least wifi is very good.
Review 33:location is great, very historical and famous building.
Review 34:tragedia: bathroom (water does not flow away) disaster: bed bounder, a liar reception noise tragedia: wi fi
Review 35:Nothing
Review 36:The location was great the room was spacious with a comfortable bed with a very nice breakfast
Review 37:Felt like staying in a big conference venue, no hotel armosphere. Staff indifferent at best.
Review 38:Good location.
Review 39:Location is OK, the main city-square is in front of entrance, just the hotel in old monastery always has some specific - be ready to meet that challenge..
Review 40:Showers were rather tired. Badly behaved crowds of guests at breakfast. Breakfast location is in the gloomy dungeons.
Review 41:Location. Excellent value. Rooms are rather spartan and no frills but this is fine, given the cost. Breakfast content: good quality and quantity.
Review 42:Breakfast is "just good".
Review 43:Great place, we had a really spacy room in a very nice building. The building is used not only as a hotel, so different people enter and walk through. Some might like it, some not - we did:) There is a school of music as well, so we listened to piano and singing - supernice")
Review 44:There is no service in the beautiful courtyard. It is even not able to have a beer in the guest garden but pictures on the homepage make you think to have good time there. The on internet page indicated playground is very poor!
Review 45:I was there for 7 days and the breakfasts were ok but could have been improved without too much effort for example: the scrambled eggs always tasted a bit unusual, the sausages were too salty, the orange juice was just cordial. Also the breakfasts were always the same every day and could have been more varied.
Review 46:The room was very spacious and comfortable with a view over the city. The receptionist went out of her way on a Sunday morning to get me my some breakfast at 6.30 am.
Review 47:No air-conditioning.
Review 48:Large rooms. Good views, w/ windows that open all the way. Nice people. Right on square, yet quiet. Internet/wireless. Architecture.
Review 49:WiFi service was intermittent at best
Review 50:Location was ideal for touring the town; restaurant was very good and staff throughout were helpful
Review 51:Since it's also a conference center, the hotel part is somehow unpersonal, without feelings.
Review 52:In the city center.
Review 53:WiFi in rooms was terrible.
Review 54:Location, a room with beds for 3, historical building.
Review 55:Poor breakfast.
Review 56:Confortable, clean, nice breakfast
Review 57:excellent in every regard
Review 58:There are no curtains so when the sun comes up (at around 5.30h) you will see that immediately
Review 59:The staff was very friendly and the location is great!
Review 60:Very good location.
