Review 3:I visited Gasthaus zum Ochsen in May with my husband and parents. The place is fabulous, as are the rooms. I love the location in town--there is plenty to do/eat around. *There is a wonderful icecream place about a 4 minute walk from the guesthouse. I would definitely stay here again.
Review 4:The church bells. Every day, every 15 minutes, every hour, it makes me crazy. Church across the street. The boss of this church is a complete nutcase.
Review 5:The bed is fine, and that's special, since we are both 1m90+.
Review 6:Very friendly staff, good restaurant. Cosy place to stay for a friendly price.
Review 7:Our room was a bit small (in the roof with sloping ceiling, but I guess that is character!)
Review 8:This place has character and the restaurant is good.
Review 9:No chair in room, just an "ottoman". Toilet is a bit low and seating space is "narrow". The church bells can make you crazy. No WiFi to speak of.
Review 10:Bed. Shower. Breakfast. Parking. Staff. Clean. Price.
Review 11:Room at the front of the hotel is noisy: the church bells, oh man... and some youthful people on the other side of the street go on drinking and being noisy till very late.
Review 12:Staff is very nice, friendly, helpful. The hotel is a romantic place with some nice architectural touches. Breakfast is OK, though nothing special to mention. The bar has a nice collection of whisky and other drinks. The bed is very good. Parking your car takes some care, but there's enough space. This is our 3rd stay and we will come back again.
Review 13:Wifi is slow.
Review 14:The breakfast and dining room is gorgeous. The staff is superfriendly and helpful. Parking is difficult but OK. Bathroom is spacious and handy, places to put everything. Nice collection of drinks at the bar.
Review 15:I liked everything about this hotel. First at all was friendliness of staff, welcoming at reception, very good food. Hotel is clean. We appreciated most that it is historical building with own character. Highly recommended.
Review 16:The toilet in the bathroom is ridiculously low and small. The requirements for using wifi are so extensive (lots of privacy-sensitive info has to be given) that we did not use it.
Review 17:Friendly and helpful staff. Good bar. Good food and very very nice restaurant with some nice details. Easy to reach. The bed was OK, and we are both 1m90+ tall.
