Hotel Central sells fast on our site. Overlooking the historic main square (Namesti Republiky) of Pilsen, the Central hotel offers fine cuisine, an up-to-date spa/fitness center and its own parking in the courtyard.

Review 1：you can not count on using wifi, they have terrible connection to internet, which is real problem specially when you want to work from the room... So it is better to book another hotel in the centre of Pilsen...

Review 10：They weren't going to give me a parking space even though I reserved one, my Czech friend told them I'd go somewhere else and I got the space no problem, but had to pay 7euro/night (not mentioned in booking). They also put me in a smoking room even though I requested non-smoking, they offered me an alternative 'non-smoking' room which also smelled of smoke and had an ashtray in the room; reception's response? "It is a recommendation and we cannot guarantee..." (I get a strong feeling if I spoke Czech I would have been treated differently). The street noise was very loud (people partying, music etc.) - but that's understandable considering the location.

Review 11：Location is great, can't get closer to the action. The bed was really comfortable and the shower great.

Review 12：WIFI not working just on our floor, when I called front desk, no effort was done to help, making it impossible for me to check my office. I had to work from the lobby. Next morning front desk staff told me that they knew about the issue for weeks but the director did nothing about it. We were never offered another room and basically told "too bad, get over it". No AC and the room was around 40 degree centigrade. Not good.

Review 14：We had a serious mosquito attack in the night, so much we had to change rooms, because there was more than 30 mosquitos in our bedroom. But the hotel staff was understanding and tryied to help. The bath space is incredibly small.

Review 18：No toiletries, no Air con, a loud fan was provided which hardly did the job at temperatures over 30°C. they crammed a twin room in the space of a single room. I can't count how many times we bumped our legs trying to navigate through. The tiny mini fridge was near end of life and couldn't even keep drinks cold enough. Very unfriendly staff at reception. Poor breakfast, we came 1.5 hours before the official end and everything (not that there was a great selection) was already empty and the staff just scarcely brought out more food.

Review 21：Decent location for Plzen. Breakfast was ok and the juice was from concentrate (sweet) and I don´t like that. It was a holiday weekend and the town was dead so no-ones fault for very calm atmosphere.

Review 61：This was a really bad experience. First room, i start to take a shower and water was not leaving through the drain. Called reception that told to go get another key (no sorry, not even taking the key to us). Second room, my girlfriend takes a shower. Water does not go down the drain. Again, called reception that says not they're problem, after the shock and insisting they say they will send someone to check. Girl arrives complaining that it happens in all rooms nothing to do, i go to reception and ask for new room and that if same happens, i will just leave and no pay (this was still few hours after check in). Third room, water was going good on drain, room had papers left in the shelf (plastics from some chocolates) and water infiltration in walls. In the next morning after using toilet floor of bathroom gets full of bad smelly water. For a four starts hotel it was an awful experience, worst ever in over 50 hotels experience between me and my girlfriend.

Review 63：The location was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful. I had made several reservations because we had more and more friends that wanted to join us for the Liberation Festival. The staff was so patient when we were all checking in and they let us pay separately. We will definitely stay here again when back in Pilsen.

Review 64：the reception staff were not overly pleasant/helpful and don't greet guests as they come in and out. when we asked how to get to cernovice the receptionist told us there was a tourist information over the road. when we asked how to get to the bus station, the same blonde middle aged lady tried to sell us a map. we were also put in a twin room when we had booked a double and then were told to come down four flights of stairs with our bags only to be given a key to the next door room! the reception staff are poor. the bedroom was cramped.

Really, this hotel needs to decide what it is trying to offer and who to. If you were going to Plzen just for the beer and then passing out in your bedroom, it would be OK.

Review 84：We had booked a suite - where the deposit box was out of function, thetv was poorly functioning and the wireless internet was off and on. Wecould have accepted this. However - the temperature in the room was morethan 30 degrees Celcius, and the air conditioner (which was extremelynoisy and placed only a few centimeters from the pillow in our bed)didn´work. This we could´t live with, and we therefor checked out afterthe first of the three nights we had planned to stay there. Booking.comprovided excellent help in finding new accommodation.

Review 86：The architecture is really jarring for its starkness. All but 2 of the buildings fronting this old city square are elegant vintage structures, many dating to the 1500s (and the church several centuries earlier). This hotel is one of the 2 exceptions; it's a cheap-looking boxy structure that appears to have been built in the 1950s. The room was cramped and the window barely opened. When we asked for a window fix, a workman came by and stuffed a bottle in it to keep it open about a foot. Fortunately it was May and the weather still temperate. But don't expect luxury at this hotel.

Review 87：The staff was helpful, particularly a smiling bartender who sold me a bottle of decent white wine to take to our room at 10 pm for the equivalent of about $10 USD, plus he supplied wine glasses. The included breakfast was decent, as far as European breakfasts go. Secure parking was provided at a very modest cost (I think it was around 10 euros per day).

Review 88：We went to stay in this great hotel for one night on our motorcycle tour. The staff was super friendly, they even lend us an umbrella so we didn't have to buy one. The wellness area is great and the massages super cheap. We paid around $40 for 2 one-hour massages. Fantastic. The room was clean and quiet, the location can't be beat. It's right in the middle of the town, and you can walk to a lot of places. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices for everyone! The fee for privat parking is more than justified. I can only recommend this place to everyone.
