Review 1：The person at check in was very helpful and friendly, pleasantly answered all our questions. Hotel is basically in the downtown close to everything. The family room we were given easily accommodated our two older kids.

Review 2：They only give you one pillow (very flat), I had to ask for another (this one was nice and fluffy). But the receptionist brought it up nearly right away which I appreciated.

Review 3：That staff were so friendly! The hotel was also very quiet and my room was small but very comfortable. I had a lovely view of the mountains.

Review 4：Single room little more than corridor; curiously, only one small hand-towel provided (generally, hotels provide more towels than you know what to do with). Rather poor lighting in main part of room.

Review 11：What an incredible little find this Hotel was. We were in two minds to take 2 days out of our holiday to drive to Bregenz and so we cancelled. We then changed our minds and was so well supported by both Booking.com & the Hotel. This location is excellent, the room was large and comfortable, The staff so friendly and helpful they could not have been any better, special comment to Christiane who was everywhere when we needed her and made our holiday special as did all the staff. One thing, we will be back and the next time for a week. Breakfast was traditional and not to our normal taste however I managed to eat my German/Austrian breakfast and enjoyed it all. Home made lemonade in the reception a daily newsletter with jokes, with notes on Bregenz history and places to see.

Review 22：there was no parking place when we arrived, even though we parked on the pubkic parking just several meters from the hotel. The furniture is kind of old. Breakfast could be better.

Review 24：Nothing major - it was a good place to stay. A couple of minor things were: the suitcase rack was broken and had to be re-tied together with string. Also the room was quite hot when I arrived, and there was a portable machine in a cupboard which I thought might have been for or cooling (or heating) but I couldn't work out how to use it from the German instructions. I could have asked at reception though!

Review 25：Central location very near the harbour and cable car and an easy walk from the main station. Friendly welcome from receptionist. Spacious room (I had a double for single use). Good breakfast for the category of hotel. The morning newsletter was a nice touch.

Review 28：This was an excellent hotel in a good position so that you were able to walk to any part of the town. At our request we were given a quietly situated room. The room was spacious and well equipped. Especially thankful for the hospitality tray. Plenty of cupboard space. Staff were extra helpful as my husband needed to have a blood test during our stay. They arranged an appointment for us.

Review 30：Clean rooms, comfortable beds but firm by US standards, breakfast buffet was well done, rooms were quiet & staff even called me when they found my expensive headphones after I had checked out and departed. The location is superb - 40m from the pedestrian walking section with good restaurants and cafes.

Review 31：The Wifi in The room was very weak.... And there was no Wifi in the breakfast room. Wifi is important for travellers, both business and tourists; keeping in touch with families, banking payments, booking new hotells.... A modern hotell should have good Wifi.

We expected to get a hotel experience - where staff is friendly, helpful and taking care of hotel customers usual needs. Staff at Hotel Garni Bodensee weren't friendly or helpful, but almost even rude. Cleaner didn't fill in toilet paper or tissues nor did she leave coffee/tea. Room didn't have an iron or an ironing board, and when we asked for one, we were told to ask this from kitchen staff who gave to board and iron for us to carry up to our room. Hotel staff made us feel like we are bothering them and we wouldn't stay there again for this at 120 € per night. Bregenz was a lovely city though...

Review 82：This is at least the fourth time I stay in this hotel. Family style hotel. The staff is very kind. The room I had which was double room for single occupancy was great.

Review 83：Too much road/traffic noise. Close proximity to bars/clubs also meant listening to drunken people on the streets in the wee hours of the night. I think the walls must have been thin. I did not sleep well, although the bed and pillows were comfy. This was on a Friday night. It may have been quieter on a mid-week night.

Review 89：There was no air-conditioning in the room which meant I had to leave thewindow open. There is a cocktail bar about 30 metres away from the hoteland the noise from that establishments' patrons kept me awake for anumber of hours on the Saturday night.

Review 92：I stayed at the hotel for two nights. For the price this hotel is excellent. Many of the nice touches pushes this hotel toward four stars rather than three. The hotel is perfectly positioned for the harbour, 2 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Behind the hotel is some on street parking, however these spaces are limited in numbers. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Speaking excellent English and offering help and guidance to the area. The breakfast starts at 7 and runs until 10. Seating area is limited. Therefore my suggestion is to get to breakfast before 7:30. Otherwise you may have to use the secondary seating room. No great shakes, but prefer the main room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling. A great experience!

Review 93：Very nice hotel, spacious room. Important extra was tea making facilities which British travellers appreciate. Would recommend calling the hotel: Hotel Bodensee, not Garni Bodensee. Non German speakers get confused, thinking they are looking for Hotel Garni.
