Review 2：Loved the tranquility of the location. Was a nice room with a lovely view and the best bathroom in all of the German hotels we stayed at in our 2 week travels. Free wifi and the restaurant attached to the hotel served delicious dishes! Staff were kind and patient with us, English-speakers, which we quickly found out is not always the case in Germany. Overall wonderful experience.

Review 3：Super country location, very clean, quite, sauna, jacuzzi for 8 euro only. Free parking. Great dinner, superstar chef for chip price. We loved everything.

Review 11：Warm, friendly welcome and Lothar was a great host. Great staff, waitresses superb and everybody helped us with our poor school German most of it long forgotten. Food was excellent, breakfast and dinner an absolute pleasure. Large, comfortable and spotlessly clean room - everything was sparkling clean. Odenwald is a lovely region - stayed here to attend the F1 Grand prix at Hockenheim - an excellent choice.

Review 15：There are several hiking trails in the neighborhood of the hotel. The food is good and the staff friendly..

Review 16：It is very remote and without a car, it is almost impossible to get to other towns or even a grocery market (the bus only runs some days, every 2 hours). Also, make sure you book a room that is not on the street side. The Hotel is right on a road and the rooms at the front are fairly noisy.

Review 17：The staff was very friendly and everything was very laid back. The spa was great, the room was newly renovated, breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is right near the forest and there are some nice hiking paths. Great stay!
