Review 3：Surprise, the first hotel, who delivers all what is mentioned on the booking.com website description. Warm welcome upon arrival and check in. Room is really well fitted with all the comforts equally to a 4 to 5 star property. Excellent bedding, nice bathroom, with shaving mirror, including bathroom amenities Made in Italy for a change (good quality) Large modern digital TV with all the needed TV stations and a room safe. The hotel is 2 star rated, but to our opinion can be a lot higher. The next morning went to the dinning room for breakfast offering a good spread of food. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel highly to anyone.

Public parking is possible right outside the door provided you can find a space which we did after a bit of jostling. Next to the car ferry so a good base to reach both sides of the river. Review 46：Location in Boppard was excellent. Right on the water, loved sitting on our balcony and watching the boats and sunset. I believe Boppard is the most beautiful town - many towns on the river have a busy road or rail tracks between them and the river. Boppard just had a small, rarely used one lane street and a wide boardwalk filled with tons of flowers between us and the river. The bed was excellent, shampoo and bar soap were provided. No air conditioning but had big window and door that could be opened letting the river breezes in. Breakfast was good, and we had very good meals at the outdoor restaurant.

Review 48：Your booking did not match the hotel's room. We had a party of three with a room booked for three on Booking.com. When we got to the hotel we had to reserve an additional room to accomadate our party. My children had to sleep alone, three floors away from a parent. The hotel staff was very rude about this discrepancy. I was scolded for my booking. The front desk staff was very rude.

Review 58：The hotel is right on the Rhine River. Walking along the river promenade after dining in the hotel restaurant was the highlight of our evenings. The view from the room balcony is breathtaking. The hotel is walking distance to souvenir shops.The very charming owner/chef makes excellent dishes. The waiters are very attentive to your needs. The younger waiter has an amusing sense of humor. We recommend this hotel to everyone. We enjoyed our stay.

Review 78：During our 10 day trip along the Rhine, this was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in. You get excellent value for money and the riverfront location could not be better. The rooms are trendy and stylishly decorated which puts this hotel in its own league in this area. The hard working staff, including the owner, is very eager to please and always smiling. The restaurant is also very trendy with creative dishes. The breakfast buffet is small but tasty, and each item is constantly filled up in small portions, so that everything always is fresh. We highly recommend this hotel!

Review 85：One if the most comfortable hotel bed we have experienced. The hotel is right in front of Rhein river, we had a big balcony facing the river. Andrew ( hotel receptionist cum everything) was ever similing and very helpful indeed.

Review 86：The elevator is very old and small. It is unpredictable and sometimes goes up when you want it to go down. Also, you have to go up stairs to reach it so it is not a wheelchair accessible hotel.

Review 89：If you're requesting a room with balcony, ask for an upper floor. Our room was on the first floor and we could barely see the river through the trees. Also, I would encourage management to change the music that plays at breakfast. I think it was Mariah Carey, or some other very high-pitched voice, with the same songs over and over. A nice soothing piano or low-pitched singer would be welcome first thing in the morning.

Review 90：This hotel is ideally located right along the Rhine, just steps from the main plaza and several good restaurants. We had a good-sized balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the Rhine. Unfortunately it rained during most of our visit but it was still nice to have an outdoor spot to sit. The manager was a bit abrupt when I couldn't get wifi to work, but he got it worked out. I think he isn't real comfortable speaking English and I speak no German. When I asked a question about the train he sent me to the Information office in town (which was actually incredibly helpful). When I discovered down pillows on the beds and asked for synthetic pillows, they were replaced promptly. We slept very well (no street noise). Breakfast was an amazing spread that included fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, yogurt, tomato-mozzarella salad, delicious breads, and more.

Review 112：Our room was quite large. We had an entry hall that contained a large wardrobe, a sofa and a table. The bedroom was fair sized and there was a 7x10 balcony from which we could watch the Rhine traffic pass by. The staff were very helpful enabling us to print out some documents and then to fax them back home. The breakfast was excellent and the cafe along the river was our evening spot for a glass of Riesling and dinner. We loved Boppard and the Rheinhotel Lilie. It was our favorite place on our month-long trip. If you need to have your clothes washed while you are in Boppard (a two-three day process) you take them to the Schmuck Art jewelry store! and they call a woman who will pick them up, wash, dry and fold them and bring them back two days later. We've never taken our dirty clothes to a jewelry store before.

Review 118：the church bell goes off every 15 mins throughout the night which makes sleep quite impossible during summer when you have to open the windows. the building smells old but finding a new building with aircon is quite a challenge in this small quaint town.

Review 125：Fantastic location, our delightful little balcony overlooked the Rhine River. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner alfresco sitting next to the river! There was a small issue with our account and it was remedied quickly and efficiently.

Review 127：Not Major problems, but no hotel parking, although you can park in the square behind the hotel (pay between 8-6). Trains run all night on bank on other side of Rhine, and can be quite noisy if windows are open - I didn't find this a problem, but book elsewhere if you would be disturbed - not that frequent at night.I'll be staying there again!

Review 131：Brilliant location, room to a very high standard, very clean, modern, and as we paid extra for a room with balcony, particularly useful if you are a smoker ! , you could spend hours watching the boats going by ! Decor in the public areas wasn't to my taste, but it didn't detract from our stay, if anything it provided some amusement. Hot food on offer at breakfast was an added bonus.
