Reviews for Las Marías Hotel Boutique
Review 1:the location is a bit difficult to access
Review 2:The staff is really great and always available to help, the rooms are big enough and well equipped and the breakfast buffet is fine
Review 3:The location is perfect; a nice 15 minute walk (without luggage) outside the town center of Tilcara. Very quiet and very DARK, if you're going to enjoy the stars at night, it's AMAZING! the arcitecture is modern and rooms are spacious, with a lovely patio. The mountain view from the dining room (and some rooms) is spectacular. The furnishings are luxurious, tasteful and elegant, especially the bed. The staff are very gracious and many speak English. I was greeted at my room upon arriving with a mimosa and cookie on a tray. I arrived late and the kept the spa open just for me - the jacuzzi is wonderful. I wish I could've stayed a few more nights. Highly recommended, Tilcara is enchanting!
Review 4:Catering in the evening was poor. Eating in town was very much better.
Review 5:The outlook, the design and the staff. The room was very comfortable with a glorious view.
Review 6:- Amazing views and landscapes - Beautiful rooms: earthy high-quality design (we took pictures of the bathroom as inspiration for our house!) - Incredible welcome: we were travelling on our honeymoon and were welcomed with champagne and flowers! - Delicious breakfast: including freshly-squeezed orange juice, home-made breads, and delicious pastries. All-round fantastic, if you're going to Tilcara, stay here!
Review 7:Suspect chemicals in spa could be a bit strong as my bathers have deteriorated where spa jets hit.
Review 8:Everthing. Loved this hotel. Design referencing traditional styles and building materials. Menu including local food products. Great breakfast. Gardens, view and pool. Gentle,, helpful staff. Would definitely go back.
Review 9:We so loved our stay that we extended it by one night. The room is welldecorated and clean. The breakfast is super good and fresh. Theexcellent service of the frint desk staff is what distinguishes thishotel from the other hotels we had in Argentina. Bianca was veryfriendly and speaks an excellent english. She gave us recommendations ofplaces to visit that we did not find in guide books or internet. Herservice is comparable to what we had in Asia or Europe but way above theother hotels in Argentina (even some 5 stars)
Review 10:nothing to complain about but make sure you bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper as there's quite a lot of stray dogs in the village and they bark near enough constantly. Not the hotel fault but come equipped :-)
Review 11:Loved it all!! the views from the bedroom, the breakfast, the quality of the furniture... would go back without a doubt. exceeded our expectations!!
Review 12:car access down a ramp...not brilliant.. High Altitude...we did suffer some altitude sickness.
Review 13:Room and view beautiful .. Bed comfortable.. Breakfast..OK Atmospheric place
Review 14:not much to complain about but make sure you're a heavy sleeper or bring ear plugs as the stray dogs are super loud at night. Nothing the hotel staff could do about it though :-)
Review 15:We absolutely loved the place. the rooms are very spacious, immaculate with stunning views. the staff are extra polite and more than happy to help. Breakfast was simply the best I'd ever hd in a hotel with a wide range of cold and hot option as well as fresh orange juice. Was sad to leave...
Review 16:The yacuzzi water had bad smell and they allowed children to use it.
Review 17:Staff friendly, spacious rooms, king size bed, nice view. Scotish shower, very good breakfast.
Review 18:Service could be a little slow.
Review 19:Beautiful setting and great location on the edge of town. Friendly people. Good rooms. Nice little pool.
Review 20:la atencion
Review 21:la calidez de su arquitectura
Review 22:beautiful premises, comfortable room, and excellent service
Review 23:An oasis. Friendly and helpful staff. My wife just loved the gardens. Very well designed...beautiful
Review 24:The hotel restaurant is ok. There are two highly recommended restaurants in Tilcara with excellent food
Review 25:The breakfast could have more choices and is a litte small.
Review 26:Everything was great and we can highly recommend this hotel.
Review 27:nothing
Review 28:Beautiful view from the room (and the bed) Warm pool Helpful staff Quiet place Great location
Review 29:the food at the restaurant could be better
Review 30:very kind staff, very good massage, large room
Review 31:The design of the hotel and the stunning views of the mountains which are very relaxing
Review 32:no hay nada malo!
Review 33:It was without a doubt the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 week stay in Argentina. We went to all kinds of hotel, from luxurious chains to local B&B, and only during our stay at Las Marias Hotel Boutique did we regret having to leave! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the interior design and overall facilities amazing, the breakfast was the only really rich, high-quality buffet we had during our vacation, sleep quality excellent... And only for a small price, unimaginable for such high standards!!
Review 34:Fantastic little haven after a day out in the magnificent surrounding area… the suite was so thought through and comfortable … with a fabulous hairdryer! a rarity even in 5* hotels.
Review 35:The check-in procedure is overly complicated, the WiFi doesn't reach all rooms (fortunately it reached Room 203), and the have the practice of adding the 21% tax which hikes up the price considerably on what you first saw on Booking.com
Review 36:The rooms are a good size. Nice swimming pool and okay spa. The staff are professional and efficient. The views of the mountains are great and Room 203 has a small deck with the best privacy.
Review 37:Everything was very percussive and you could hear doors closing, furniture moving around on hard surfaces in other parts of the hotel, if it were mine I would put rubbers on all chair and table legs, rubber or foam tape on door surrounds, which would alleviate the problem some. The internet connection was just about manageable for emails only, web sites shocking!
Review 38:The staff were fabulous,Erica outstanding and deserves special mention. The location was great and very comfortable
Review 39:Wifi worked but I wouldnt say it worked well. However why quibble about the wifi as this is not a place to go and continually use the internet etc, there is far too much to see and do than be bothered about technology.
Review 40:Staff were great, not that we needed anything. However we felt if we had asked they would of provided with little fuss. We stayed in the hotel for two days for our honeymoon. The suite we stayed in was perfect. This was the most expensive hotel I found in Tilcara but it was well worth the money.
Review 41:I think I requested a queen or king but we had twin beds. It may be because we were lost and arrived super late. Wifi was inconsistent, but given the location it was great to have it at all.
Review 42:The staff was very friendly and helpful and accommodating. The food and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. The view was outstanding.
Review 43:Internet connection in room was Mon existent.
Review 44:I loved this hotel--views are spectacular, rooms are very comfy and staff is so great. I will absolutely return.
Review 45:Natural materials give this hotel a rustic yet luxurious feel. Great views of the mountains. Private balcony. The welcome drinks with cookies was a nice touch. Good breakfast buffet with eggs made to order.
Review 46:The high altitude can make breathing difficult unless one takes steps to acclimatise first.
Review 47:The staff and wonderful mountains and people around the hotel.
Review 48:Staff very friendly, articulate in English and helpful Breakfast Pool
Review 49:No full on spa
Review 50:Location, rooms, staff, view, beds, suite, service, rooms, communal area, pool
Review 51:We only stayed there one day. We would love to stay there longer.
Review 52:It was a fantastic place to stay there. Very clean and modern.
Review 53:Nothing to complain about
Review 54:Great balcony, very spacious room, nice outdoor area and good location
Review 55:Very friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing atmosphere . Nice modern style
Review 56:The rooms, the view and the breakfast
Review 57:An enchanting oasis in the middle of a dusty city. Great staff, food, accomodations, and spa treatment
