Review 1：We expected to be in the main building not the motel part. It felt like a roadside motel. Too expensive for what it was.

Review 2：The staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean.

Review 3：Next to euro fighter base, although only a few planes flying, and not at night, the noise was very loud when taking off and landing. On the plus side, ideal for plane watchers!

Review 4：Lovely villa in the countryside. Villa lovingly restored. Dinner and breakfast superb. Stayed in one of the adjacent guest rooms, with a lovely rural view. Room and bathroom very spacious. Pets welcome.

Review 5：Very handy place for a day in Köln using S-bahn ( a 5 euro/25 minute) ride from nearby (by car!) station with trains every 20 minutes. Very good breakfast. Did not try restaurant but had a good coffee on pleasant terrace. Our 'comfort room' in coach house building was huge with nice sitting area and kitchenette with fridge.

Review 10：After a long transatlantic flight it was wonderful to be able to stay where it was quiet. We had our service who was treated very well. The room was Hugh and very comfortable.

Review 15：Closed on Sunday's. No staff. Key taped to the door. No restaurant, bar or mini bar. No kettle or coffee maker. After travelling for 9 hours we were faced with hunting for a restaurant in the dark in the middle of nowhere. In the end we are some snacks we had in the car and shared the one small bottle of water the hotel provided. Breakfast next day was excellent.

Review 34：This is an attractive house set in beautiful woods, converted into a delightful hotel. The surrounding woods were teeming with bird song, which was the only sound, as it is well away from any busy roads, yet easily reached from the main road to Cologne. A little gem.

Review 37：we chose the place mainly due to the good reviews about the restaurant but when we arrived the whole place was deserted, including restaurant. Keys left in a postbox for us. This apparently is the case on all sundays and on public holidays in Germany but was not made clear on booking.

Review 38：We stayed here for Phantasialand and it was quite a way on the autobahn. Rooms were lovely and spacious, but my husband struggled with the fact that it was once a hospital.However, we liked it and will go back.

Review 39：Lovely hotel. Great restaurant and excellent service. Dog friendly, was able to take our dog to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. As the menu was limited for my daughter they made her a pasta and chicken meal. Plenty of parking space.
