Review 2：Traditional German bar restaurant with separate but vey close hotel rooms. Worth staying for food alone but rooms are new, clean and fully equipped. Staff are very freindly and welcoming. We would actually go off route to stay here again, it is that good.

Review 7：The water from the shower in our room could not stablise and went from extremely hot to extremely cold in repeated cycles every minute. It was not pleasant for adults and rather dangerous to children, which we found for our 2-year old toddler.

Review 11：We prefer to stay in a German Hotel, when visiting Germany and not achain hotel. Haus Wilkens is definitely German and we will continue tovisit when passing through. Ideal for visitors to Koln being just ashort distance away by car.

Review 12：Hotel practically has no reception - you wait in a corridor between the kitchen and the restaurant next to a tiny table attached to the wall blocking the waiters passing by. Restaurant closes 10pm Rooms are in another building than the 'reception'. Room was very small and hot (no AC)
