Review 1：Bed are hard, not very confortable. Free wifi very slow (256k), almost not usable...have to pay extra for speed. Fast free wifi in hotels is a must nowadays. It is as important as hot water in the room!

Review 17：it was the world cup and the lobby had a huge supersize cinema like screen next to the bar where matches were shown non stop. no chance for guests who are not interested in football (and there were quite a lot of them) to relax anywhwere by the bar or in the lobby. very unfair. this is even more surprising since there was a huge, nice public viewing area of the city of gera 5 minutes from the hotel. i also did not like that staff had to wear brazil t-shirts as work dress during the football world cup. it did look neither professional nor did these men shirts look nice on the lady-staff. why do beautiful ladies have to run around dressed like footballers ? and again, not every guest is a football-fan.

Review 18：excellent location. next to park and castle. 5 mins from train station. tram stops nearby, 3 stops to city centre. nicely furnished, large rooms. very friendly, helpful staff. breakfast room is spacious with nice views. good breakfast buffet if included in price. i would not wish to pay for breakfast on top, it should be included in room price. mine was included and this was perfect. i would use this hotel again and can recommend it.

Review 19：Although breakfast was excellent, dinner seems to be provided on thebasis that a hotel like that ought to be able something to guests,nothing more interesting. The mixed salad, for eur 7, was the mostexpensive and uninspiring salad I have had anywhere in Germany,consisting solely of lettuce, tomato and cucumber.

Apparently there is a car park, but I could not find any sign for it and ended up parking on the street in front of the hotel (luckily it is free of charge, but it was fairly crowded, as obviously I wasn't the only one that couldn't find it). Additional costs of 5.50EUR for WiFi seems a bit high (and unnecessary, just add it to room price, as everyone else does).

Review 25：I thought the shower was amazing! My sister and I got a really goodprice for it from booking.com so we thought is was amazing value formoney! The breakfast is really pricey €14 per person! But there arecafes around the hotel so we went to one of them instead, but the buffetbreakfast at the hotel did look good! Overall we had a really nice andrelaxing stay at the hotel!

Review 28：Very comfortable, very friendly staff. I had to catch an early train, and arrived at the dining room 15 minutes before it was officially open (having mentioned to reception the night before that I had a problem). I was met by a smiling lady, who was obviously expecting me, and said that not everything was ready, but I could take whatever I could find. This seemed just typical of the service provided. I would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area
