Reviews for Hotel Vltava
Review 1:- Only one person from the staff spoke English. - In the room it was a bit cold - There were dirty linen lying around in the corridors - We booked the sauna for 1 hour and 15 min after the start, we were cooling in the pool and a woman from the staff came and turned off the sauna. We just realized it when we wanted to enter the sauna again. So one of us had to go at the reception in a swimming suite and search for someone from the staff to turn the sauna on again.
Review 2:+ Very spacious room with a beautiful view. + The Sauna and the small pool were nice to have. + The breakfast was great!
Review 3:nice hotel , freindly hotel Staff
Review 4:The staff were not very happy. There was not a nice atmosphere in the hotel: Breakfast was poor. There was a terrible smell in the room that even after opening the window for 3 hours the smell would not go. We did not feel comfortable in the hotel and left a day early: The indoor pool was small when more people there was no room to swim and had nowhere proper to sit and relax.
Review 5:the indoor pool was warm. The evening meal was o.k.
Review 6:The hotel is family oriented, you can not have a long nice dinner in the evening, it is all served within 45 min.
Review 7:Nicely located on the square of Frymburg and the garden boarders the lake. Nice and clean rooms. Nice terras at the back. Friendly service.
Review 8:Hotel was ok, we only stayed over night, so dont know anything about the neighbourhood. Only major issue we experienced (which has nothing to do with the hotel itself), was the driving to the village. We came small roads from Austria and GPS guided me to drive over the lake, I thought there is a bridge, but 50m before driving to lake I realised there is nothing (should be some small car ferry). Absolutely no signs/lights/gates or anything warning the end of the road. At 8pm in total darkness, we were literally seconds away for dropping to the lake.
Review 9:Nice hotel for over night stay in a small village on the lake. Small swimming pool inside and also possible for heat the sauna (150 CZK). For a 5 people, very nice room with double bed and three single beds in another room. Didnt visit the lake, as it was raining, so dont know about that. Basic breakfast, cereals, bread, sausages and eggs. You can also find ATM 200 meters up the road. I could park the car in the front of the hotel as the road was almost empty, perhaps in the summer its bit more challenging, but I guess the hotel also had some private parking facilities somewhere on the back side.
Review 10:*old furniture, and terrible beds *sauna in the Spa didn't work *no clean towels when asked *no dressing gown, like it was promissed on the website *simple breakfast *only a few tv channels available
Review 11:*friendly staff *clean pool *silent at night *big fridge in the room
Review 12:One of the walls in our room was water stained due to old leak from theroof. Breakfast was lacking variety from day to day. It would be greatto some small changes in breakfast food every day of the week, butanyway you can catch up in the spar and local grocery market.
Review 13:Hotel manager was very helpful and friendly. On the daily basis we wasasking a lot of orientation questions and every time was getting fullsupport and help.Hotel position is magnificent and offers spectacular view on the lake and shore. Moreover the hotel is run in a very nice and genuine style: for those who want to experience real warmth of Czech province and escape big city fuss the hotel is definitely best place to stay. Hotel restaurant offers good food for lunch and dinner, but it is also advisable to try restaurant Pohoda and restaurant Maxant which are our top choice in Frymburk.
Review 14:excellent staff. very friendly
Review 15:It could be cleaner. Also smell of cleaning is too strong and notpleasant at all. They should change it to neutral one.
Review 16:Location, friendly staff
Review 17:Great staff, great services, great location.
