A backyardparking place, costs extra - it doesn't seem to be justified incomparison to other hotels in Germany.

We booked this no-cancellation hotel thinking it wasnear a fest we intended to attend only to find out that it was 4 hoursaway. They would not let us cancel or change hotels but they did let uschange the dates. So we visited this hotel with angst. The hotel andstaff were so pleasant we cannot complain at all. However, as Englishspeakers, there is not very much in this area for tourism. The beercaves of Gera seem to have a great tour if you understand German. TheKroistburg Brewery seems to have tours on weekdays, etc.

Review 28：We loved the hotel staff, they were fabulous. We enjoyed excellent foodat the adjoining restaurant and the breakfast was a very nice layout!The room was very new and clean with a fabulous shower.

Review 29：Hotel staff was not willing to even attempt to speak English. I realize we are visiting a country with a different language, but I believe a 3 star (excellent) hotel should have at least some English speaking staff. Breakfast buffet was costly and average at best. Dinner restaurant which was connected to the hotel was understaffed...our waitress also served as bar tender.
