Review 1：We asked for a recommendation about a restaurant with traditional German cuisine and the receptionist directed us to the market square. Except a Greek restaurant, a pizzeria and a kebab place we did not find it. After 30 minutes we came back and there was one, just in front of the hotel...

Review 3：I have stayed at this location several times on work. In prior visits it seemed like a good hotel. It now operates and feels as a youth hostel. Not appropriate or appreciated.

Review 5：We arrived after midnight (stayed only one night) and were happily surprised the morning after when we saw the beautiful surroundings of the Heppenheim village. The breakfast was splendid and the rooms were spacious. A good stay.
Review 6：separate beds with no possibility to move the nightstand The breakfast on sunday was not good, or actually not there, but I think they must have been short handed, cause it lacked everything from bread to bacon. They should have extra coffe! The machine took like 2 or 3 minutes and the line was long! Most of us wanted regular coffe anyway, no need for a fancy machine. The wifi was terrible at the room, and €8 was not worth it

Review 9：Excellent location just two minutes walk to the old town, ten minutes walk to the station. Confortable rooms, nice little city much more welcoming than a suburb.
Review 10：The breakfast was chaos on one morning with no seats and not much food left at the buffet. Ate elsewhere but still got charged as we had booked it.

Review 14：- room was smoked-through, although ordered non-smoking room!! - personal initially tried to charge significantly more than was shown in booking confirmation. After I shown the confirmation they tried to argue the breakfast was not included (as if EUR 30 difference could be applied to breakfast). Only after being shown the separate line for breakfast they charged the proper amount. No excuses heard.

Review 16：The building is tired, we turned one room away due to it wasn't level. Walking across the room was a little weird and made you feel dizzy - very odd! The room we eventually stayed in was only ok, we booked for 4 days but checked out after 2.

Review 31：The male receptionist is not polite to us when we would like to paywith a 500 hundred euro. He himself doesn't know how to distinguishthe paper money, as well as the machine on the desk. It is not aproblem for me not to receive 500 bank note, it's common thatpeople sometimes reject such a big amount bank note. What I wasn'thappy with is his attitude, he talked to other Germans that how thinand soft our money is, and he even said that there is no metal line onour bank note, I feel so sorry for him, as a tourist from non eucountries, I always got 500 bank notes from our domestic bank, I havenever seen any metal line on any of 500 bank notes! Although he keptsaying that he didn't say our money is fake, he acted like all ofour 500 bank notes are fake! For god sake, we have 12 same bank notesin our hand, none of them has any problem, which we exchanged all ofthem later that day in Post bank. It would be much better if you admitthat you and your machine couldn't distinguish 500 bank note,instead of doubting our money. We feel very humiliated when otherguests there made jokes that said our money is a copy!!!

We found that paying the extra for breakfast was worth it asthere was a great selection. The hotel had an elevator- a rare thingin Europe. Heppenheim is a gorgeous little town and I would not havechanged where I stayed.
