Reviews for Garni & Residenz Rheinpracht
Review 1:If you book a double room used as single you get a single towel and a single duvet Check-out at 10h30 is too early Bathroom amenities are very limited Very noisy passage of trains all night.
Review 2:Friendliness of staff Coziness of bedroom Location (if you have a room with a river view)
Review 3:Confusing names for the hotel. Lack of clarity about use of facilities. High cost for a small hotel with limited facilities and no wifi included. Lack of written information in English. Very hot - no fan offered; no air con
Review 4:Riverside location
Review 5:The hotel no longer runs it's restaurant service.
Review 6:We stayed in the self catering ground floor apartment at this hotel which provided an excellent base for our vacation. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential street which is approximately 200 metres fom the main hotel. It is a short walk from the village centre and there is a super market within 2km. There are a small number of bars and restaurants in the village. This accomodation would suit people looking for a quiet get away or those interested in hiking or cycling.
Review 7:When we stayed at this Hotel before we had an evening meal, this was not available and the Hotel indicates it has a restaurant. (Breakfast only)
Review 8:We liked the location and used the Hotel as a base.
Review 9:To our suprise we stayed in a separate appartment instead of the hotel. As we arrived late saturday we could not do any shopping in the area. So, we did not use the kitchen facilities during the entire long weekend. We had breakfast in another hotel in the village. My disabled wife didn´t like the steep slope to the entrance
Review 10:beautiful environment quiet location
Review 11:Do not be fooled by the photos. The room, the furnishings are simply depressing. The Hotel is at best a 2 star and is like a rest stop on the motorway but with the noise of the road and the trains right in front of the bedroom window. The Hotel has a non refundable 100% advance payment for a reason. We could not face staying overnight in such a depressing room and were lucky to find another not too far away.
Review 12:nothing
Review 13:Could not fault the hotel.
Review 14:Lovely family run hotel that catered for our every need, excellent location for travelling around the area. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.
Review 15:Could do with Wifi and air con.
Review 16:We stayed in the self contained apt behind the hotel. Has every thing you need. Nice balcony with a bit of a view. Plenty of storage space. Good position for exploring. Nice and helpful staff.
Review 17:Wi-Fi would have been useful. Not the fault of the hotel but it could get quite noisy during the night with passing river traffic and trains.
Review 18:Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable room with balcony overlooking the Rhine. Perfect for watching all the River traffic. Very friendly and helpful owners, excellent food. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.
Review 19:Updated rooms with modern furniture.
Review 20:Paid for parking, but got none. Public parking available, so why sell parking?
Review 21:Very clean and comfortable apartment, would return again.

Review 30:Good food, accommodating environment, very friendly staff. A Pleasure to have stayed there
Review 31:The bed was comfortable however the pillow was too soft, like a bag of air that deflated when you put your head on it. We stayed at 4 different hotels on the Rhine and found that this was normal. The pillows were all the same.
Review 32:The hotel was facing the Rhine only a short walk from the KD Rhine stop and a shorter walk to the Hostile Brothers Castle Ruins. The owner was very nice and hospitable, spoke English well. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant.
Review 33:The restaurant was not open.
Review 34:The hotel overlooks the Rhine, from the balcony you can see barges, trains and cars passing by but the double glazing works well and the noise does not intrude. Very welcoming owner, good breakfast, immaculate room, very comfortable.
Review 35:A Room With A View - with a balcony overlooking the River Rhine the scenery was constantly changing and interesting. Everything we wanted and more. Own restaurant facilities were also good quality and efficient. The owing family were very welcoming and user friendly. Thank you.
Review 36:Nothing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Review 37:A very friendly welcome. A helpful, caring family run hotel right on the Rhine. Clean, well presented and comfortable. Pleasant walk along the river side to the railway and town centre.
Review 38:the breakfast is set at 0830 am, that is a bit late. We had not seen the information and had planned for a 07:30 bkf...happily the lady in charge opened for us at 08:00
Review 39:Marieka greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile. From there it just kept getting better. Our room balcony overlooked the Rhine and we just watched the boats passing by. Sandra, Marieka's daughter organised a boat trip for us which capped off a wonderful day We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food and the service was first class also loved the local wine Could have stayed a week View at night was breathtaking
