Review 2:Hotel was locked , close till 1500, we went out for dinner came back for a night cap, but all was closed , shut up for the night, didn't feel welcome. This is a cash only hotel!!!!

Review 3:Welcome on arrival was nice

Review 6:Rhein view, restaurant food.

Review 7:I like the very confortable bed the kindness of workers

Review 8:This is a family run hotel which has remained in the same hands for many generations, having been updated with modern facilities over time. The food is wonderful, the family and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The views over the river are marvellous and it is very easy to find. Its position by the Rhine is opposite the KD boat jetty and only 5 minutes walk from the railway station, free parking is available too.

Review 9:This was the second time which I'd stayed at the Anker, and have foundthe hospitality of the staff fantastic. It's like visiting family! Theygo out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. My room wasvery modern and comfortable with a lovely verandah overlooking theRhein River. (Beautiful at sunset). The restaurant food was excellentwith a lovely choice of local wines. I hope to go back again on my nexttrip to Europe.

Review 10:My wife and I enjoyed a welcoming and pleasant two night stay at Hotel Anker in May 2012. We had a lovely room overlooking the Rhine where we sat on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the world go by. The Hotel owner's, staff were friendly and helpful. The location such that it is just across the road from the Rhine Cruise Ferry landings and a five minute walk from the Train Station. We would definitely return and recommend this Hotel.

Review 11:No obvious reception at the hotel, had to venture into the restaurant tofind the owners who greeted us and quickly got our keys for us.Duvets were very light (summer weight) and not usual tradition for soft feather filled - staying on a cool April day we needed heavier weight bedding.

Review 12:Hotel is well located on the main road running along the Rhine. Freeparking available directly opposite (if you are lucky as it's publicparking spaces). Hotel is a standard 3* hotel, rooms were clean andfunctional. Not particularly 'luxurious' but able to get good nightsleep. Bathroom tiny but again functional and very clean. Run by familywho were friendly and spoke good English. We had a meal in therestaurant which was good and well presented and not too expensive.Breakfast was typical continental style with choice of tea, coffee, hotchocolate, cold meats, cheese and bread/rolls with cereal. Adequate butnot spectacular. Seemed to be on par with many similar hotels in thearea and would rate it as a good average hotel.
