Review 1：Organisation and general management seemed weak Many items listed on the menu remained unavailable throughout our stay of several days No sparkling water and no beer other than local brew The ' catch of the day' was always tuna.no other type of fish was available With the noticeable exception of one or two people the staff seemed rather disaffected and fed up Service was slow altho well manned and the hotel seemed over half empty

Review 3：Breakfast is OK, and even when it supposed to be open until 10:30 am somedays they started closing it near 10 am. Gym closes at 20 hours. Prices are high for equivalent hotels elsewhere, but in this island everything is two times more expensive, so assuming that constrain prices are OK.

Review 4：Good location ... walking distance to "downtown" and the fishermen "caleta", confortable rooms with nice decor, good restaurant and bar, they offer a free drink every night at dusk. The mini bar has a small asortment of drink for free (refill is paid) and they give free mineral water daily Staff, with some noticeable exception is friendly. Nice hotel, with A/C and a decent Wifi. Review 5：Check-in time is ridiculously late - 4 pm!!! The check-out time is tooearly - 11 am (you basically are kicked out of the room and have to waitfor 2 hours in the lobby for your airport transfer). No possibility toget a late check-out. Most of the people in the hotel speak no or verylittle English (75% of the Receptionists do not know English at all),the managers in the spa and in the restaurants barely speak any English.I wasn't able to get a bill for the rooms at the check-out foralmost 2 hours (which is a normal practice everywhere else). Two hourslater and after a few reminders I got a handwritten bill !!! for mystay. Our last night in the hotel was terrible - even though we had adnd sign house-keeping tried to enter twice at 22:20 and 22:30, in themorning we woken up at 8 am by them trying the door knob.

Review 6：A really nice five star hotel with an awesome spa, good food in therestaurants. Great location. Overall very impressed with the hotel.One of the receptionists is a young guy who is very helpful and niceand speaks fluent (for the local people) English. A lot of money andcare has been invested into the hotel, however the service needs tobe improved.

Review 7：We stayed at a different hotel for our first three days and then moved to Hangaroa. The staff was very friendly but not very helpful. We expected Hangaroa to be incredible, given the comparatively higher price but were extremely disappointed. The room was nice and had a great view but could have been cleaner. The most disappointing experience was with the spa. We tried twice to get massages but the one therapist we kept getting was horrible.

Review 11：The hotel was extremely expensive, more than double the price we paid for any other hotel of similar standard. The excursions through the hotel were astronomical in price considering the island is about 12 miles long and fuel is cheap.

Review 15：We seemed to only be able to book this using booking.com. We did end up emailing the hotel our questions about our stay. We didn't really know what was included in the price. It seems there are many guided excursions included in the price (at least our booking). We wish we could have added them on, instead of including them because we wanted to see the island on our own and therefore paid for excursions we didn't use. We didn't make a fuss about it though because it truly was a great location and the staff and food were superb. We loved Easter Island!

Review 16：The staff was very helpful. We were picked up at the airport. They helped us comunicate with the local car rental agency. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable. The food was exceptional- especially the lunch and dinner selections included in our stay. We highly recommend this hotel.

Review 17：Everything is perfect. The room, the view, the pool, the food and drinks, the staff, the location. Great value for the money, given that all food, drinks, and tours are included.

Review 18：We stayed at this place for 3 days.The biggest challenge is to find some competent people to serve at any of their restaurants. A drink will take 10 mins. to place an order and another 20 mins. even when sitting right in front of the bar! Each day, getting food was a joke seeing two waitresses running around for giving almost "no service" to the near empty restaurant with a total of four guests. They don't bring water or whatever unless you have to remind them twice! We gave up waiting for our coffee and walked away every time.

Review 19：Open space plans using natural materials. "Eco" is more of the theme then as a practice. An expensive hotel but it is very clean and quiet. We arrived 3 days before our cruise and the hotel was nearly empty, but it was still quiet and spacious after more than 100 pre-cruise people arrived.
