Review 1：Restricted check in time. They did leave a key in a key safe but not knowing that we had to kill time before arrival

Review 2：Having an adjoining room with balcony enabling us to enjoy time with our friends. English speaking staff that were very helpful. Bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Review 18：This is an Excellent place to stay. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and probably the most helpful owner/manager that we have ever met. The hotel is a really nice little place to stay with alot of attention to detail that you don't get at the bigger hotels. Great location and we will be staying there again for sure.

Review 20：We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a spacious room with a great view. It was very quiet. The little kitchenette is very practical. We did not use the swimming pool and the sauna, but we saw the swimming pool and it is actually bigger then it looks on the photo. The breakfast room is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent. The staff is very friendly.

Review 22：Charming hotel with a staff (the couple who run it) that is really amazing! We were in Germany for three weeks and we decided to end our trip at this hotel our choice was perfect. Breakfast at the hotel is amazing and the view from our room was lovely. The hotel itself is located in the city center and spa resorts and local restaurants all within walking distance or a short drive (Baden - Baden). The hotel owner did above and beyond to please our stay. The hotel is amazing and highly recommended

Review 24：excellent service. we will not forget the effort of the staff to make our stay as pleasent as possible. all our needs were fulfilled even our "hidden" needs. we highly recommend this hotel for those who care about good staff service. breakfast was excellent too. wine and mineral warter free in room. we'll return to this hotel next ocasion!

Review 26：The Owner was very keen to help in any way, and was obviously proud ofhis hotel and its good reputation - and was anxious to keep it so.Breakfast was very good. It's a pity that they don't/can't offer eveningmeals. There was a stock of a variety of good beers & lagers at only1eur for a 500ml bottle(!), and guests simply helped themselves. Theempty bottles were collected daily from the rooms - and presumablycounted(?) to be added to the final bill. However, when we left this wasoverlooked and we had to remind the Owner to charge us for the 14bottles we had taken..! Great location - we used our free Schwarzwaldtravel passes on the tram/train to visit Ettlingen and Karlsruhe.

Review 27：Great location for touring the black forest. The room was very nice andclean with its own kitchenette. Husband and wife team running the hoteland he was English speaking and very helpful she not so.

Review 28：Nice & clean hotel in Black Forest location, near Baden-Baden (easy to reach by car, but just as well by train). Decent sized rooms with balconny (choose room on the front because main road that runs in the back can be busy). Forest walks start from hotel. Personnel was helpful & friendly - esp. talkative owner who was genuinely welcoming & helpful in any way possible. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but do follow the owner's advise about the restaurants in the village centre - one of them even shuttles visitors back and fro. There is a thermal bath nearby, but we prefered the cosy swimming pool and sauna in the hotel that was available just for us. Good breakfast buffet with personal touch.
