Reviews for Iorana Isla de Pascua Hotel
Review 1:Most of the personal was grumpy and unfriendly. The price of the room is way too high. The food was very average.
Review 2:The location is good. The rooms are old, but clean.
Review 3:Dinner was included with the reservation so of course I gave it a try. There were no choices for dinner they server just told you what you were having and the food was not that good, my meet was under cooked and portions were small.
Review 4:The location was perfect.
Review 5:Far from the town One girl at the reception was helpful but the other was a disaster dinner was very poor we decided to dine in town although dinner was included in our price Prices are very high for the service you get Hotel is old room is tiny
Review 6:Beautiful view of the ocey
Review 7:The staff weren't that helpful or friendly. The food was disgraceful. We stayed half board and it was truely terrible.
Review 8:The pool and the view is really nice. The sea pool built into the rocks is outstanding.
Review 9:Food was not as expected, nothing like the photos on the website. No buffet in evening, only water provided with dinner. It was a special birthday trip so very disappointing not to have what was implied by the lovely photos and was one of the main reasons i booked this hotel. We weren't told when we checked in and food was quite basic.
Review 10:Location near volcano, view. Resident dogs. We were given a lift to the airport when we left which was nice. Wifi was ok, worked in reception
Review 11:great location with not only view of sea but being really right next to it and being able to walk straight from the rooms unto grass and the sea shore.
Review 12:Not having WI-FI in the rooms, the bar and restaurant area.
Review 13:Staff was very friendly and helpful especially to the customers impacted by LAN flight schedule changes.
Review 14:I barely needed to use wi-fi, but is IS quite spotty on the island in general.
Review 15:Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in whatever we needed...shout out to Carol in particular!! Clean, modest rooms, comfortable beds, hot water, a/c, in room safe. Included breakfast was varied, healthy and quite delicious. It's a bit of a walk to town, 20-30 minutes, but that was a plus, and the walk along the coast is stunning.
Review 16:Had some issues with door keys working. Of course wifi was difficult but wrote this off to the remote location.
Review 17:Staff was friendly and the food was very good. Beautifully maintained grounds. Enjoyed the ocean pool down the hill from the hotel.
Review 18:The front desk staff was not friendly and told us we had to buy a special permit to visit the local parks with a guided tour. Turns out we didn't have too and got ripped off.
Review 19:The view and a 15 minute walk into town.
Review 20:No WiFi in the rooms. Only aces sable in the lobby.
Review 21:Beautiful location with volcanic rock beach. Short walk to town. Incredible staff that went out of their way to make us feel at home And shared the history and culture of the island.
Review 22:No hot water on the rooms. Had to get a key of a different room to shower every time for the whole family. We found cockroaches in the rooms for the first two nights and sand in our beds every night. There was no change of sheets in 5 days. There are better places in the Island for the same money.
Review 23:The young women at the front desk where totally helpful and really kind.
Review 24:The WiFi in the rv were down, but th e lobby worked.
Review 25:The staff, Lisa and Karen, we're excellent! Clean rooms, wonderful views and good food! Best hotel on the island.
Review 26:Beds are uncomfortable and small
Review 27:Not far from the airport and senter, really good dinners (better than we have in the sity, for lots of money) amazing vew from the room, clean, stuff really helps with everything.
Review 28:It was quite expensive for what you got. It is a little aged as it was built 30 years or more ago.
Review 29:Views and quietness. staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely pool.
Review 30:For a three star hotel on this remote island everything for us was perfect. We saw the sea from our balcony and it was a 5 minute walk to get to the waterfront. At night we had a clear view of the stars. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the main street but it was okay. There were even streetlights along the main road. During day you could use the scenic coastal path -at night only with a good torch. WiFi was indeed slow but working. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Review 31:I submitted inquiries in advance and never heard back. The rooms are also very basic for the price and a bit out of date - but for Easter Island I think this is still quite good value.
Review 32:The location is excellent, right on the sea. Other reviews say it is away from the center of town but not too far - and worth it in my opinion. The room and facilities were spotless and the staff were generally very friendly and helpful.
Review 33:Stunning view. 10 to 15 minute walk to town. Reception staff very helpful
Review 34:Location, surrounding
Review 35:lack of hot water
Review 36:location and friendliness/helpfulness of staff.
Review 37:wifi is only in the lobby.
Review 38:the views and the owner was really nice and the resident dog and cats!
Review 39:Smell in the room. Pool is small. Restaurant food is not very good.
Review 40:Very good view
Review 41:Staff and location were the best!
Review 42:About a 5 min cab ride to town, but cheap and easy to get cabs
Review 43:Small, intimate hotel. Family run, very attentive
Review 44:Nothing to complain about.
Review 45:The island itself!
Review 46:The hotel is sooo 1980 They really need to rethink and update everything
