This family-run, 3-star hotel is at the edge of a forest on the outskirts of the spa town of Bad Herrenalb, in the Black Forest. It offers free Wi-Fi and a scenic south-facing terrace.
The Hotel Waldschlößchen offers traditional Black-Forest style accommodations. The hotel is popular with hikers, spa guests and general vacationers all year round.
In the hotel restaurant you can order Swabian or Baden food, such as Black Forest trout. Original Black Forest cake is made here, and can be enjoyed on the sunny terrace in summer.

Review 1：Bad Herrenalb is is the middle of preparation of a major Garden Festival in 2017 so is not it's usual perfection at the moment.

Review 2：Lovely location, spotless clean, modern bathroom facilities. Comfortable. The staff fell over themselves to be helpful.The Black Forest Gateaux is a must.

Review 3：I loved the friendliness of the owner, manager and the entire staff. They got me everything I needed at all times. There was always food available to eat, and the selection was great (Especially the homemade cakes). I give this hotel a 5 Star rating and will come back.

Review 6：We were only there for one night and arrived rather late, but no problem to get a supper. We got a recently renovated large room. The bed was very good ! The breakfast buffet offered a large choice of good things. Moreover, Waldschlösschen is a quiet place with a friendly, motivated staff.

Review 7：Peter is a fantastic host. This is our second visit and won't be our last. The rooms are great and the food is excellent (particularly the huge selection of cakes available for afternoon tea!).. For anybody driving through the Black Forest we would always recommending stopping off at this hotel.

The restaurant has a good cook and the terrace is the perfect place to take a bier and relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is also good. Very good relation quality/price

The breakfast was very good and one important point - available until 10.30, what I liked because of doing sport in the morning. Very pleasant area for walking. Hotel is dated and away (deeper in the valley) from the more mondain village of Bad Herrenalb. A steep climbing road (24%) is ahead of the hotel further into the valley. Bus transport available to the village at no extra charge for guests.

Review 45：The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by wooded hills and countryside.It is just outside the village which has a very attractive park and thermal baths.As guests we were given a pass for free train and bus travel in the area and as far as Baden Baden.It also gave you discount on the baths and concerts .The host was very friendly and helpful.
