Reviews for Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa

Review 1:The bar forgot about our food order, our starters were served but our mains were forgotten about and didn't get served until we reminded the staff. On the positive they did give us complimentary wine. The rooms were dark and very poor lightning - one of the lights also dropped out of the ceiling through the night and hit myself on the head. The receptionist did apologise.

Review 2:The finishing touches were fabulous. Parking and unloading our car, the attentive staff were so professional. The spa over 3 levels was one of the best spas I've ever used. The views were gorgeous. The food (once remembered) was really tasty. Lots of choice and variety for breakfast.

Review 3:The price of food & especially drinks. €18 for a g&t! Room was rather dark & has no tea, only coffee, which I don't drink.

Review 4:Huge rooms with massive comfy bed, jetted tub & mountain view balcony & the best hotel pool/spa complex I've seen.Very helpful multilingual staff. Great choice at breakfast.

Review 5:Can't understand why they are not cleaning the windows in the spa area ? This is a small thing but I think that exclusive spa like that ( The best spa I seen ) need to be spotless ..

Review 6:This is the best relaxing and stylist hotel I have ever been and we have been in my life . LOVE the taste menu in the chef restaurant .

Review 7:Slight delay on check-in as check in clerk was on the phone to another customer. No alternate person to service us.

Review 8:Great breakfast, confortable need, lovely views, good staff

Review 9:Nothing

Review 10:If you've ever been curious about Andorra, stay at this place. Andorra is like a friendly version of Switzerland, but in a parallel universe, and the hotel is an excellent place to stay. Very luxurious, beautiful location, and extremely friendly staff

Review 11:Everything. I noticed there were some changes of staff memebers in a positive way. Everyone is more professional and friendly. Cleaning of the rooms also improved significantly. No complains whatsoever. Top standards! And Oriol at the bar makes the best cocktails!.)

Review 12:I had a very bad "Club sandwich" which really didn't look like the regular Hermitage club sandwich with totally burnd fires. It was disgusting! This order was at 4 am. Otherwise, in regular hours the room service food was okay.

Review 13:It's one of my favorite hotels ever. I live in Toulouse which is 2,5 hours far from Andorra and I only go to Andorra for the hotel. I stayed there many times and I never regreted it. It's the place were i clear my mind and enjoy to spa.

Review 14:The spa was spectacular; rooms were very well appointed & comfortable. I could hear the stream outside as I went to sleep. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was exceptional. I've travelled through Europe for years &, without a doubt, this was the best hotel I've ever been to in Europe.

Review 15:- in the 3 level-spa there are only a few toilets available on a single floor - spa is to be renovated, the tiles are falling off in the water, which might be dangerous - stuff : some of them can't speak English; some were unfriendly; some did not really want to help us - amazing behavior in a 5 star hotel

Review 16:- comfortable, spaceous room with balcony (junior suite) - tasty breakfast - few people in the summer - right at the ski area - friendly and helpful barman

Review 17:Glass BAR

Review 18:Fantastic Hotel and staff. Excellent service!

Review 19:Insuperable

Review 20:4 caps. coffee are excellence but put at least 4 milkys not 2 ; ) . joking, was perfect.

Review 21:la sensación de exclusividad y deleite.

Review 22:The parking. It's quite a nuisance

Review 23:Everything

Review 25:Beautiful facility

Review 26:the staff were the best i have ever experienced within an hotel 5 stars all round many thanks for saving Kermit from the laundry

Review 28:Distance and route to SPA Bedroom lighting Bar working hours

Review 29:Location, service

Review 30:Great Views, Fantastic Staff, Good Food, Lovely Feel & cool Spa

Review 31:I will be short as everything was absolutely perfect. Upscale spot! Attention to the finest detail!

Review 32:Were a bit out of season so we got the room a bit cheaper. Excellent

Review 33:Reflexology massage in spa was very poor.

Review 34:Nice spacious room with excelente view. Comfortable beds. Very good staff. Excelente restaurant ! Spa

Review 35:That it was in Andorra.

Review 36:The staff was amazing and the place spotless.

Review 37:The only disappointment - kids are not allowed in indoor pools - and my friend constantly feels sorry for her young daughter. I even understand the reason for the age limit - but the hotel can offer some options for younger guests.

Review 38:Excellent place - in everything - surrounding, design, food, staff, SPA. We've being with our friends and we all agree that the hotel is really good and we'll be happy to come back

Review 39:The room was poorly lit. No big deal. (I had to find something wrong) It took the staff 30 minutes to get our luggage during checkout. However, I assume they were busy at the end if the weekend, and as I said, everything else was so wonderful, non if this really mattered. Highly recommended!

Review 40:The location is great for skiers, with their ski room / lounge , literally several meters from the Gondola station. The 3 floor spa is phenomenal for relaxing your muscles after a day of skiing. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the mountains, stocked with mineral water and espresso capsules every day.

Review 41:Poor wifi signal in room Room temperature was far too hot Staff (Spa)

Review 42:Hotel Location Breakfast Room Service Spa Ski locker Staff (hotel, restaurant, ski locker) View

Review 43:Was expensive but worth it. Housekeeping could pay mote attention to detail eg the toiletries were not always replaced correctly

Review 44:Location ambiance and service

Review 45:Liked everything but it was not cheap

Review 46:Very friendly staff goes our of its way to make you comfortable. Ski rental/sorage system the best i have seen

Review 47:Miguel, the restaurant manager, vigorously rejected our request for tapwater, saying the river was low, they had water filters but ... etc, etc. I asked the receptionist if their water was unsafe to drink and wastold it was safe. But Miguel's dishonesty irritated me, so Icanceled the remainder of my half-board. When I next saw Miguel and toldhim this, he vigorously said "oh no, the water is completelysafe!" My wife ate there the next night and ordered tap water.Miguel brought it, but it tasted awful. The tap water in the rest of thehotel tasted fine, so I wonder whether Miguel put something in mywife's water to make his point. I dislike people who pull trickslike that, and will never return. There is no air conditioning in this"5-star" hotel, and you don't feel safe sleeping with thebalcony doors open because the walls between the balconies are so shortthat a person could simply step from one balcony to the next and enteryour room while you slept.

Review 48:Friendly staff - except for Miguel, the restaurant manager.

Review 49:They still don't permit to the children younger than 14 years old touse a swimming pool. Besides me I saw a lot of families unhappy withthis obstacle. Next time I have to change the hotel although I like thisone, but my younger son still Is 5 years old!

Review 50:Since my last time at the hotel in 2011 they've changed therestaurants' cuisine - and to the best.

Review 51:Something small really-Jacuzzi water temperature below what we are usedto on all 4 jacuzzis on the upper floor. We had 2 rooms, were leaving at midnight, moved our stuff into one room in the morning 10am, and a receptionist wanted to charge us for 2 rooms at the full rate!!!

Review 52:Convenience and efficiency of ski- room facilities.Spa Smart ambience, efficiency, good staff on the whole.

Review 53:Personell only adressing the male of the couple. Food in restauranthighly priced but not impresssive. Room very dark (few and weak lightpoints), grey cieling, safety box unusually complicated. Pavementtowards ski lifts not salted/no gravel or sand. Icicles from roofsadding danger. Hotel staff in reception ineffective.

Review 54:The Spa is great. Hotel situation is very beautiful.

Review 55:Some staff members at the reception were very problematic..disorganizedand irresponsible, though most were very professional and friendly.

Review 56:Great experience overall, Spacious comfortable rooms with many nicedetails/amenities. Common areas with lovely cosy feel, nice bars, especially loved the fireplace corner. Very good breakfast in terms ofvariety and quality. Amazing full service spa. Hotel takes care of allyour ski equipment upon arrival, stay and departure. Recommend toeveryone who is looking for luxury comfort and full service. High pricesbut worth it

Review 57:Very let down with the restaurant in the hotel. Not to the English palate, especially after a days skiing. Hotel needs a bistro/steak bar as other eateries in Soldeu are limited.

Review 58:Location of the hotel to the mountain for skiing

Review 59:The staff service at the Snack Bar was very poor, for a five star hotel. The front desk did not communicate very well (missing newspapers every morning, no wake up call when we had asked for it, missing reservation at the restaurant etc). Do NOT get a room on the -2 floor (it is just underneath the dinning room, and the constant noise of moving chairs starts around 7am, and goes until 1:30am). Would expect better service and attention to the guest at a hotel of this caliber.

Review 60:Beautiful location, unparalleled views! Amazing Spa and dinner service.

Review 61:The hair dryer was bust and its seemed to atke time to get fixed, beingEnglish it was typically difficult to get a cup of tea (the coffee makerwas a bit of a science..... Add an instruction to fill the waterreservoir), The view of pylons was a bit of a let down - probably betterwhen covered in snow!!) Not so much the hotel but locality - althoughthere was a guide to outdoor activities in Andorra the 'map' wasn't thateasy to grasp - and we later found somwhere outside the hotel a freeguide to walks in the locality (Canillo). We were only there for a dayand a half (2 nights) and would probably have enjoyed better walking ifwe had been able to get this information sooner. (We went up the localski lift to the Soldeu golf course and had a (marked) walk around thegolf course 'fence' - which was hardly an attractive proposition - onlyto then find out about an hour and fifteen minutes later that we had togo back the way we came!! Not too great).

Review 62:The staff (friendly, helpful, not overbearing young but mature!) theroom, the breakfast, the pool.

Review 63:Fantastic Hotel! Great service, food, Ambience. Kids club!! Great viewsoverlooking the ski field. Great service for ski gear at bottom of liftAmazing spa!!

Review 64:The only criticism we had with the hotel was the restaurant. The hotel has 2 restaurants, one inside the hotel and the other ( sol y Neu) which was a few minutes walk away. The breakfast menu in the hotel restaurant was great but the evening menu was very disappointing. Food snobs would probably appreciate the "nouvelle cuisine" menu but after a full day skiing its not the type of food you want to eat!! The choices on the menu were very limited and for non meat eaters and children you would struggle to find something to eat at all. The food we did try was bland and tasteless and either over or under cooked - not good!!! For the rest of our holiday we opted to eat in the Sol y Neu restaurant which was much better. Good menu, good food, great service and well worth the venture out into the cold!!.

Review 65:The rooms in the hotel were spacious and modern and the Jacuzzi bath was especially welcome after a days skiing! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the service was without fault. The staff in the VIP locker room were extremely friendly and efficient and its closeness to the ski lift made our daily trips to the ski station hassle free. If you are looking for a luxury ski holiday then this is definitely the place to choose.

Review 66:It seems not well prepared when is fully occupied as it was on the week of 20 of February. A big mess during the breakfast and lacking perssonal attention as we already experienced other years on the same Hotel.

Review 67:It is an excellent Hotel, with a great SPA.

Review 68:The lifts need maintenance - the menu should change more frequently!

Review 69:Fantastic 5 star experience

Review 70:Fantastic set up all round luxury for a skiing holiday

Review 71:Temperature in rooms too hot, had to sleep with balcony door open!

Review 72:Hotel, room, food, spa all fabulous!

Review 73:Uncomfortable time of room cleaning, not professional staff at the reception

Review 74:SPA, friendly staff in the restaurant, comfortable location

Review 75:fantastic hotel, highly recommended

Review 76:animaux de compagnie non accepte

Review 77:Our favorite hotel:)

Review 78:poisoned food
