Review 1：Can be a bit noisy if you are on the lower floors due to the moving people.
Review 2：One of the best locations if you are on the move in Siegburg. Right next to the DB. Near shops and shopping area. Near a Cineplex if you need some entertainment.
Review 3：More than adequate accommodation for a few nights. Friendly staff and a light and airy room, with a comfy bed and a good-sized bathroom. Plentiful self-service breakfast served in a cosy setting until 11.00, which is a bonus.
Review 4：During breakfast, some tables were reserved for conference members (What for? Completely pointless! Been to hundreds of conferences and never seen anything like this) and the unpleasant waitress was ultra-unfriendly when we asked where we could actually sit. Reception lady had to constantly remind waitresses to serve coffee. The requested bed for our daughter was not a crib but a fold out bed - not suitable for smaller children! Internet connection is routed through Bulgaria!!!

Review 8：Well, that wasn't Herting's fault at all: Some drunk people outside who were screaming. Herting does provide ear plugs, though, I just didn't use them for fear of not hearing my alarm.

Review 43：Staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel rooms were spic and span and well decorated. Each room had a theme. The hotel was very conveniently located across the street from the Siegburg train station, on the Cologne to Frankfurt airport ICE (high-speed) line. Breakfast was ample and delicious.
Review 44：Hotel is located right next to a high-speed train station and yet they do not cater at all to the needs of travellers: Check-out time is 8 am (Sundays), which is far too late for somebody who wants to catch an early train (but also in general). Ditto for the breakfast: It is only served after 8 am, i.e. I did not get any. Not a big deal if Siegburg would not be such a backwater place where it was impossible to find another place for breakfast - even those in the train station only open after 8 am. But if it is not for the train station, there is really no reason to go/stay there. Hence poor rating for comfort and location.

Review 53：Due to the design of the bld ( modern glass tower) it was very very hot in the room. I could imagine in the summer this being a major issue. This was a very warm day in October, and the room cooled off with the windows open and a fan on because it was cool in the evening, but it would be very warm in the summer and due to the proximity of the train station this could present a problem for some with noise. Given that it is in Germany this is probably not a problem 90% of the year,
