Review 1：The host is awesome! very helpful and nice guy! This is an old hotel but it has tons of charm! location (if Bad Harzburg is what you are after) is sweet! near the main street and not far from the cable car
Review 2：This vintage hotel has seen better days, but it's clean and lovingly maintained. We found a friendly reception from the owner and a spacious room with a view, just a few steps from the pedestrian precinct. Breakfast was a generous selection. And it's just a short drive to the autobahn or into the Harz mountains.
Review 3：It is too expensive for the service given. The rooms are really old, which is fine if you only want to sleep one night, but the bed was so old that everytime I moved, the bedsprings sounded really loud without have being able to relax. The owner was a bit aggressive trying to sell us the dinner as well as the breakfast by saying that there was no more places open. (what wasn´t true) In conclusion, not a good choice for us.

Review 5：The property is quite worn but good value for the price. Parking is on street but was never a problem for a spot. Restaurant does not seem to be open off season? (winter) Not sure if they speak English not a problem for us but you might want to check if you do not speak some German.
