Review 1：The air flow in the bathroom made some noise that could be heard in the bedroom but the landlady promised to have it fixed. Not a fault of the apartment, but good to pay attention if travelling by train: the best way to get there from the train station was walking, because there was a bus only once an hour and no taxis to be found at the station.
Review 2：The house was some 10 min walk from the city centre and 20 min walk from the train station. As one 1-bedroom apartment was free, we were upgraded from a double room in the attic to this big apartment with a great view over the Schlei. On the 1st morning we got bread behind our door for breakfast and a small packet of biscuits on the day when leaving. Although along a busy road, the traffic noise was not too much. Tank station nearby to get some drinks & snacks, as well as several restaurants.
Review 3：Very friendly owner, who brought a bottle of complimentary white wine as a welcome gift. We never saw such a practical and well-equipped kitchenette on the space of a wardrobe cupboard!
Review 4：Nothing. It's a pleasant apartment with a stunning view over the water, and well located to explore Schleswig and its beautiful surroundings. One small suggestion could be to provide an option for different pillows.

Review 7：The cupboard kitchenette makes great use of space but was missing a few practicalities such as a small pot with lid and a cloth or handle towels for wiping.
Review 8：The apartment is in an interesting old house and though on a busy road was a quiet haven inside. Beautifully and tastefully furnished with comfort and care in mind.
Review 9：There was an unfortunate double-booking. My friends who are not in good health had to suddenly move rooms to the top floor late the last night, very inconvenient.

Review 11：Very cosy apartment with view to the sea. Felt very welcome as there were arranged fresh flowers and fruit to each of us. Very clean everywhere. Kitchen was well equipped. Close to the center of Schleswig (aprox. 15 min. walk).

Review 14：Hard to find. Note on front door saying "Do not disturb residents below top floor." Cell phone # was listed. On top floor found 3 apartments all open with keys on beds. No welcome letters found in any. Decided which apartment I had reserved with credit card via picture from booking.com, but my room only had paperwork from previous occupant. Moved in and went to dinner. Upon return two copies of paper in German with my name and arrow to sign on line. In morning signed paper assuming authorizing my credit card (below "via Kartenzahlung beglichen"). Never saw anyone in person. Next day when I was in Copenhagen Denmark, I received email saying I had not paid. I responded that they had my credit card number and I authorized by signing their paper. She said booking.com had it, she didn't, and wanted me to wire money to a bank account in Schleswig. When I got home I telephoned booking.com who told me that they had sent credit card info to her but she must have not kept it. I told booking.com that I really did want to pay my bill and so they graciously connected me on the phone to proprietor in Germany. I gave my credit card number to her including security code. She thanked me, but still has not billed my card. She acknowledged that we had no personal contact, but must have thought I would understand to leave cash on the bed in addition to signing my name on the line below what I thought was credit card authorization. Apparently from other reviews, some travelers have had personal contact. However my wife and I did not. Also extraordinary payment expectations were never given. The proprietor thanked me on the phone for giving credit card info which she read back to me. Despite such awful service, I still hope that they would charge me and learn something about hotel services and advertising with a super booking company like booking.com.

Review 19：Hard to get into shower with door opening inwards. Large settee was attractive but very low to floor and seat cushions too deep - not comfortable for bad backs. Welcome fruit was a bit old & wrinkled.

Review 22：This house is right on the water in between the old and new centers of a little holiday town. The bus stopped right outside, so we didn't need to drive. It was a well-equipped efficiency apartment with really modern, updated features and lots of nice little luxury details. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We'll be recommending this one to all of our friends.

Review 25：This place is beautiful, my wife fell in love with it. It has a great view from the balcony, great small kitchen with numerous equipment and a is placed in great spot. We were second guests in the Schlei room and I must say I liked the way it was designed with spacious living room and nice bedroom. We look forward to visit Schlei 42 again.
Review 26：I was very pleased with my stay. A super nice woman is running theapartment. We booked the biggest room which has an amazing view overthe Schlei. We enjoyed our free bottle of wine watching the sunset.What more can you ask for? The room is very modern and has everythingyou need. It was clean and the furniture was still brand new. Can´twait to go again.
