Review 2：Large and comfortable, if slightly Spartan, room in an historically interesting building. Excellent breakfast. Helpful owner and friendly staff. Charming old spa town with good walks in the surrounding hills.

Review 16：I write in English so anyone can read this. Very good hotel, beautiful building, Rooms are modern and very comfortable, Breakfast is extensive with lots of choice. The owner and his staff deserve not a 10 but but a 10+. Friendly, helpful and very kind. Hotel is centrally located with many nice restaurants in the area.This is an ideal base to explore the whole surrounding area, because there is so much to see and do that you can easily spend a week here. we stayed 5 nights and that was way too short to see everything. But again hotel was a big10+
Review 17：Before booking I checked to see if toiletries were available and the description said free toiletries in each room. As a result I didn't take shampoo, conditioner or shower gel but the only toiletries were soap and a shower cap and a dispenser in the shower that I think was soap. The room was an adequate size but felt very cramped with two lounge chairs and a table

Review 19：Only thing was all information provided in room was in German only (not surprising for a German Hotel). A couple of pages in English would have been a nice little touch but this did not spoil our overall experience. Perhaps the provision of a small kettle with tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms would also be a nice enhancement to a great hotel.
Review 20：The Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Nothing would have been too much trouble. The room itself was a great size and was nice and quiet and included extremely comfortable beds! Excellent breakfast. All round a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and ideal for exploring the Harz region. Easy walk to and from the Station. Shops and cafes all in easy reach of the hotel.
Review 21：-Warm welcome of the staff. Personal thanx to Sven! The team really made our vacation excellent! -A lot of space. The room was twice as big as the one offered by Braunschweiger Hof. I think, if we had been travelling with children, I would have chosen an optional bed and certainly stay in Viktoria. -Bathroom! Shower and bath, 2 bowls - very nice! -Breakfast: very delicious, with cheese and freshly baked buns -Nice location! Bad Harzburg is great. And Viktoria is right at the centre, not far from railway station. -Picturesque views from the windows. I wish I saw it in summer!
Review 22：We were not able to convince them NOT to change the towels - we would have been happy to keep same towels for 2 days. We were trying to be eco friendly but it didn't work.

Review 24：This hotel is a gem! which thoroughly deserves its high rating. Its style is old German with all modern comforts. Reception is on the first floor (2 separate restaurants on ground floor). All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the rooms spotless and comfortable, most with balcony overlooking the main (pedestrianised) street The breakfast was superb, great variety and top quality. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely town, a great base for visiting the Harz region.
