Reviews for Hotel Joseph 1699
Review 1:Very friendly staff. The gentleman in reception not only offered to show us the Mikva that was excavated when the hotel was renovated, but he also called his sister to explain things in German. He went above and beyond to show us exceptional hospitality.
Review 2:The town, other than the Jewish quarter and unesco trail, was nothingspecial. Intimidating list of financial penalties provided in case ofdamage (including General wear and tear)
Review 3:Immaculate
Review 4:There were a lot of stairs to the rooms - partly because the hotel is converted from 4-5 old Jewish houses in the ghetto (on a hillside). It was more expensive than comparable hotels in this part of Czech.
Review 5:Good location. Staff were very helpful.
Review 6:be warned, there's a list of repair costs, even for what would be classed as wear and tear for which guests will be held responsible.
Review 7:Hotel immaculate. Great breakfast.
Review 8:The shower was a real disaster: mounted above the bath at chest height (if you are longer than average), the hook in the wall was loose so the shower head sprayed in any direction, and no screen or curtain, resulted in water all over the place. There were a lot of steps, but you know that if you have done your homework on this site
Review 9:Perfect location, looking into the cobble street stones from our balcony
Review 10:The bed - the double bed was actually two single beds. I was there with my wife and the gap in the middle of the "double bed" was rather annoying.
Review 11:The cleanliness, the staff very friendly and helpful, wifi included and very fast. Breakfast super tasty.
Review 12:Stairs in room a bit dangerous
Review 13:Helpful staff who have a pride in giving service stylish refurbishment breakfast will suit everyone with wide selection
Review 14:There is nothing we would complain about.
Review 15:This hotel is a great tribute to the owners. Stayed here many times now on annual visit to Trebic. Hotel is spotless. Room size varies throughout the hotel but have been allocated great room each visit. Highly recommend
Review 16:Everything was ok.
Review 17:Very nice area in jewish neighbourhood, interesting building with linked houses, very tasty breakfast, free Wi Fi, free parking. I have stayed twice in this hotel and I would like to return there anytime.
Review 18:Wonderful hotel in a historical location -- the Jewish quarter of Třebeč. The staff was wonderfully attentive and helpful in recommending the historical sites as well as an excellent restaurant.
Review 19:Nothing.
Review 20:Very good location in jewish neighbourhood, interesting and impressive building, elegant and well decorated room, cleanliness of the room, good breakfast, free parking, free WiFi. A real 4* hotel.
Review 21:There's a huge TV screen in the breakfast room with the news on, which doesn't fit into the overall atmosphere at all. However, the weather was fine, so I could enjoy breakfast on the terrace.
Review 22:Absolutely marvellous hotel full of atmosphere in the middle of the old Jewish quarter of Třebíč. Great views of the town, helpful staff, good selection for breakfast.
Review 23:Electric kettle was not provided in the room and you have to get hot water from the reception each time if needed. The hotel is located uphill and required a 20 mins walk from the bus station. Quite a challenge if you have large luggages. Few choices for breakfast. One of their staff told us upon arrival that it would be ok to check out at 11am the next day. However, the next morning, we were informed by another staff that we had to check out at 10am. Though we were allowed finally to check out at 11am, it was quite confusing for us because of different advice given by different staff.

Review 45:The hotel is excellently situated in the Jewish World Heritage quarter in Trebic. They have rebuilt some old houses and made a fantastic place to stay if you are in the town. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and being well away from the roads it is extremely quiet.
Review 46:Wouldn't change a thing.
Review 47:Owner's son was so attentive and proud of the work that has been done on the hotel. We got a tour including the ancient mikvah in the hotel that they had preserved. Accommodations were good, with a flat screen. It was very hot when we were there and we were given a fan, which made sleeping quite comfortable
Review 48:Can't say the staff was very friendly but mostly quite hospitable.
Review 49:One of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in, with longand exciting history (the guests may even watch the film about thereconstruction of the hotel on the internal tv channel, it's alsopossible to monitor your car on the parking using another channel). Thehotel is situated on the top of the hill and provides an extremelybeautiful view of Trebic.
