Review 1：I used to stay here a lot but one thing that put me off was the foul smell coming from the shower area. It seems to be an issue mainly in haus 4 but that is still there as it was on my last stay about 18 monthe ago. The WiFi is fine in the communal areas but is very intermittent in the rooms with signal being lost frequently. The car park is not the easiest to manoeuvre around with very tight spaces especially if you have a larger car. Some people have said the check in process is difficult but I have never had any issues with this and find it very straightforward

Review 2：Have stayed here a few times in the past. Rooms are spacious and generally clean. Location can be difficult to find initially but once found its only a 5 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Konstanz

Review 10：It is a well run establishment, friendly and helpful staff. The location is ideal, a ten minute walk to the lake, the train station and major bus route. There is parking and laundry on site.

Review 11：At €10, I expected more from the breakfast. The "kitchen" was a microwave and sink. They hadn't cleaned under any of the furniture. It was ridiculously overpriced for the service received. You have to pay additional costs for nearly everything.

Review 13：Internet was atrociously rubbish. At the Window or near door 1 bar with MacBook pro/iphone/windows laptop (all modern devices) at reception not much better! Two guests including me damaged their car on the Garage entrance as they put a stone on the right side! Within 10minutes there where 2 accidents. Im a well very experienced driver but this is a huge construction problem. Was clean apart from some schabe crawling on the floor but it ground floor so acceptable The staff had no time for dealing with anything One of the worst stays within the last Year have had many stays in Hotels/boarding houses and even Youth Hostels Absolutely atrocious horrible experience

Review 15：Hotel is not staffed. It is an automatic checkin where you pay at a machine on arrival. If something is not right or you have difficultly then you have to email and hope for a reply. The checkin machine allocates its choice of room, you have no say in this. Rooms on the road are loud. If you hotel door card is lost, or you lock yourself out of your room then be prepared to sleep where you stand. If you want a human touch then this is not for you. For the price there really needs to be at least one person on duty and reachable 24/7.

Review 17：The seals of the shower didn't work appropriately, impossible to take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom. Very unstable Wi-Fi reception in ground floor rooms. Bad sound isolation. In the morning, when people are leaving their rooms and checking-out, the place becomes very noisy.

Review 31：A hotel that refuses children is totally unacceptable, no wonder birth rates are low as they are! When I found out after confirming, they refused to return deposit. The rooms are apartments so ridiculous to specify them by nr of persons. Eg in a one person room, they could easily allow for a couple and a small child. Poor level of towel /linen, there is strictly one of each and no more.

Review 35：Perfect location just 20 minutes’ walk from train station and/or port, 10 minutes from Edeka supermarket, 3 minutes from bottle shop. Read the accommodation instruction manual (they are in several languages) and you would get everything from that stay. Very good selection of wine in vending machine (price is also very good). Very efficient and helpful staff.

Review 36：Given the pictures and room choices on websites, you never know what you will exactly end up with. I booked a suite which I assumed was a duplex by the pictures and ended up in a small appartment mid floor.

Review 37：I rate staff as poor, despite the very nice and helpful receptionist who is seldom seen. The rating is for management and its concept and policies and that reception is frequently closed. Check-in is at 3pm however I arrived at 2pm hoping to drop my luggage. There is a machine that resembles an ATM at the door for registration. I entered my name but the machine had no record of me. There is no doorbell. I left and returned at 3pm. The machine still had no record of me. Locked out, I discovered that when I used a coin and rapped loudly and constantly on the glass door for five minutes somebody, not the receptionist, finally let me in. The receptionist checked my name in the machine and confirmed I did not exist, so he had to check me in manually.... The way it is done in every other hotel in the world. Once in my room the wifi password he gave me didn't work, apparently as the machine still had no record of me, so he had to generate another. At 5pm I returned to the lobby to extend my stay, but reception was closed again. I extended online. The next day the receptionist and I fed my credit card into the machine at the front door and extended my stay successfully. However Later when I talked to the housecleaner in the hallway, he said I would have to pay extra if I wanted a fresh towel. The extent of his free service was to take out any trash. I explained I had a separate booking for my second night which cost more than my first night, but it didn't matter to him. I'd still have to pay extra. I should have asked for a new room when I rebooked. Computers are a great aid, but they don't replace people in a service industry. Being met at the door by an ATM is not welcoming. Not providing a fresh towel is just cheap and poor policy. Despite the nice room, I'll avoid this hotel brand in the future.

Review 38：Nice large room. Good bath. Bright and comfortable. I liked that they had a self-service laundry facility on the lower floor, even though it took well over three hours for a single load

Review 39：I was late for Breakfast on day 1 of a 7 night stay, 13minutes to be precise, even though I'd paid 10Euro for Breakfast , I was refused any thing more than a machine cup of coffee, very disappointed with the approach of the inflexible attitude of the staff. The Breakfast offered is cold, but you can boil eggs and make toast. Very different environment to a 'hotel', this feels more like a squeeky clean Correction centre come Hostel.

Review 40：the hotel using check-in machine, we used it to check-in, but failed, we got the bank message that we already paid, but we cann't got the room card on the machine and we don't know why, there is no reception on holiday, we found a cleaning boy, and he doesn't know anything about the machine, we were helpless. then we call the tel of the hotel, the man in the phone said we need to check-in after 3pm and pay again... we have to call our bank by oversea call to check if the payment succeed, then we sure it not, so we went out and come back after 3pm it finally works!!! the hotel should inform all people who made the booking that the hotel may don't have reception at some day, so no people help you if you have any problem of you stay. if you are not confident to only use machine to check-in, please don't book this hotel. it is a trouble maker.

Review 42：Service is really really need to improved! No emergency staff or phone number available. I only know the wifi code will be available on the receipt after I checked in but I forgot to pick it up from the machine, tried to call the phone number and email them, but no feedback until 7am next day. There're no staff/emergency number available after 1300, which must be improved.

Review 43：location is not bad, around 2km away from city center. The facility is quite modern and new, kitchen is good. The parking slot is a bit narrow but ok.

Guests check in using the hotel's check-in machine in front of the lobby. Check-in is possible between 15:00 and 06:00 using the exact surname used for making the reservation. Please have ready the booking name as well as a credit card, EC or Maestro card, and your PIN number. This does not have to be the same card used for making the booking.
