Review 1：We had asked whether it was possible to have a baby cot placed in the room and got no feedback from the hotel Eifelburg even thouh we specifically asked for an answer on this question ahead of arrival. Also access to the hotel is very difficult as it is in the historic centre and there were no instructions on how to find the reception located in a restaurant not bearing the same name as the booked accomodation. Nobody picked up the phone at 5pm when we called for directions. When we finally got there we were told the price to pay for the accomodation was 25€ higher than the price on the confirmation we got throuh booking.com because a baby cot had been placed in the room. As we had not received any feedback on whether this would be possible we had to make the inconvenient arangement to bring our own travel cot. The owner of the hotel told us in a very unfriendly way that there was no way he would refund the 25€ for the then useless baby cot. Once in the accomodation we found that the kitchen with cooking facilities did not even contain a pot to boil some pasta. As the prospect of having a cooking a facility was in fact the only reason for which we booked this accomodation it all became a bit of nightmare. Broken lightbulbs, no soap provided inthe shower, damaged furniture partly fit for the rubbish dump added some more "pleasure" to our stay.This dishonest way of dealing with customers is a disgrace
