Review 1：Manager was not on the premises. The hotel was unmanned. When we got there we got connected to a phone number, the owner told us to wait. He arrived after 20 minutes, we were tired from our long trip, and we were locked outside the door in a cold wind. When he got there he set us up and left up again ("I have a party top go to"). Other guests were staying and they looked not reassuring, sitting on staircases, yelling in rooms, and yelling over the phone most of the night. In the morning, when the owner finally showed up again, breakfast was minuscule and expensive. $100 per night and the worst place I stayed at during this trip.
Review 2：Close to downtown
Review 3：Location. Halfway between Old Town and Gottorf Castle and an easy walk to both. The breakfast was first-class, more than I could eat. Friendliness and local knowledge of the owners.
Review 4：Parking automat was working only with coins. Nobody can change. It was very expensive. Nearby there is free parking during the night. Noone tells this.

Review 6：Normally so small rooms that you need to close your luggage to be able to sleep or sit in the room. This time we got a bigger room with a sofa!
Review 7：Inefficiently soundproof, during the night we could loudly hear some person puking next door, too many times. Not especially clean room. The Wi-Fi didn't work in our room, only worked sitting in the stairwell.

Review 9：The WiFi is non-existent. Couldn't connect to it anywhere in the hotel, despite having at least 2 bars most of the time. Even in the breakfast room I had no luck, and I tried a phone, computer and iPad at different locations throughout the hotel. Luckily I had a SIM card which made it a bit more tolerable, but I'd have been super frustrated if that hadn't been the case. Germany is really lacking in free public WiFi hotspots, so a hotel without any is a big issue. Easily fixable, and I hope that happens soon.
Review 10：Domhotel was quite lovely, great location right near the Schlei waterfront, nice walk to Schloss Gottorf and the old town. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. I had room 14, the single room on the top floor, and it was well-sized. The bed was a day-bed, making it bigger than a standard single, so that was a big plus! Having a sink in the room was also great, but it would have been nice to have a plug to do some washing myself. The shower room was right next to my room and quite loud when in operation, but the guests stuck to the strict 23.00 curfew for showers, which meant my sleep wasn't at all disturbed.

Review 35：Wifi never connected, breakfast very bland, filling but tasteless, Iexpected better as German breakfast is usually a favouriteof mine. For€7 it was not so good.

Review 37：I had requested a quiet spot in the hotel with WiFi to my room and wasgiven a room overlooking the main street so I woke every morning at 6:00A.M. to the street noise. But the biggest drawback: Not able to accessthe WiFi in my room #4, let alone the Dom Hotel server on the 2nd floor,on any of my three digital devices. So ‘Wi-Fi is not available in allareas'. With no lounge, I had to sit on the stairwell when theBreakfast Room was locked and unavailable. A 2nd WiFi server needs to beinstalled for lodgers in the upper story.
Review 38：The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. I opted not to eat DomHotel’s 7 Euro breakfast.
Review 39：The room had clearly been used by a smoker and smelled very bad, which we were not informed about. So, check out if you order a smoker/non-smoker room.

Review 42：It seemed very pricey compared to similar and even better accommodation elsewhere in Germany. That may just reflect Schelswig as a whole. They should warn you on the booking that there is no one at the hotel 1300-1600 each day, as it means there is no possibility of storing luggage if you arrive, or want to leave during those hours, and there is no place at the train station.
