Reviews for Penzion Bellis
Review 1:The view out of the window was of a narrow quite street in the old town of Olomouc. It was picture perfect. The beds, breakfasts and service were all without comparison.
Review 2:A bit noicy from the road nearby in the mornings. Ask for a room facing into the middle or the street the building has its street address.
Review 3:Awesome breakfast, well worth the 4€. Very good location in the middle.
Review 4:But if you are travelling by car, you need to go to park 10 mins away from it. In the end is not that bad because at least you can do it for free...
Review 5:The room was very big and confortable. Staff was very helpful, easy and detailed oriented. Beakfast was awesome, way too much, but we nearly ate it all! Location is great, right beside the square and very close to bars and restaurants.
Review 6:Nothing.
Review 7:We are full time independent travelers so we have stayed in numerous types of lodging throughout the world. The Penzion Bellis met our criteria on booking.com and our expectations during our stay. The owner, Miroslav, went out of his way to help us. We arrived in the city without a GPS. Navigating the city streets was a challenge, so we called the Penzion and instead of giving directions, Miroslav met us in his car and we followed him. He continued his friendly and helpful manner by printing maps and providing excellent recommendations on restaurants and sightseeing. He recommended upon leaving the city to visit the Castle Bouzov and the handmade paper factory - Velke Losiny. We visited both and they were excellent choices. We stayed in the Bela Room on the main street side and it was roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was a typical Czech (European) breakfast and tasty. We would definitely stay here again.
Review 8:The building is close to noisy square. Rooms are not as pleasing to the eye. Old décor. No parking available, had to park on the street.
Review 9:Proximity to city centre.
Review 10:Noises in the street, but you can't have the calm of the desert when you are in a city centre!!!
Review 11:Nice Pension, inside the historical centre. The staff was very friendly, and the Breakfast marvellous
Review 12:Parking was a 5 minute walk, but that is to be expected since this Pension is so centrally located. The staff gave us a very good tip on where to park inexpensively.
Review 13:Appreciated the interior which offered a sense of comfort, quiet and light.
Review 14:The main staff are not at all friendly - she's smiling, but in a way you're certain she's just waiting to get rid of you. Her English is not very good either. I was demanded to pay right when I arrived without even seeing the room. And they don't accept credit cards either. Currency is flexible: EUR or CZK as you like (didn't check the rate though). The room itself was, I'd say, trying to be pretentious: a huge sink with multiple drawers that you obviously won't even open in a hotel. But no hairdryer. There was a strange smell in the bathroom when I arrived (gone overnight). And the shower leaked big time. Overall a cold and unfriendly ambience - only thing helping is the breakfast and the only friendly person at the bar. Oh and the "double" bed consisted of two single beds put together.
Review 15:The location's good - just around the corner from one of the main squares. But still not in the middle of the tourist crowds. The breakfast was awesome: sandwiches, eggs, fresh juice, coffee, pastry etc. One of the staff (the guy at the bar - he'll be serving you breakfast) is really helpful and nice.
Review 16:window is facing the courtyard. It was really hot in the room, although central heating was turned off (and outside temperature was only about 19 C)
Review 17:big and clean bathroom, kitchen in the apartment with all equipment
Review 18:Only Fault. Could Not Close Blinds. For Privacy.
Review 19:Great Location. Near the Marian Column. Friendly Staff. Large Room, with Everything You Need. Great Breakfast. In Grand Surroundings. Names, instead of Room Numbers. Would Stay Again. Good Value for Money.
Review 20:Room was tiny. Beds not comfortable. With the tile hallways, the noise carried everywhere. Didn't get a good sleep. A bit challenging to find For a budget, it's a good choice, but not sure I would stay there again.
Review 21:Staff were nice. Breakfast was good. Good value for the money. Proper shower instead of bath, which was very welcome. Location is terrific. A few moments walk to the main square. Plenty of cheap municipal parking nearby.
Review 22:Very loud. Especially on Friday night. I closed the window but it didn't help. So couldn't sleep till 3 a.m.
