Review 1：The announced free parking was full so we had to park in another place and pay for it. The hotel is a bit run down and needs a renovation, but it's functional and clean.
Review 2：Very good location and very helpful staff.
Review 3：Very noisy, no air-conditioning, no English-spoken TV channels, poor breakfast (no vegetables).

Review 7：I think in summer you will have a choice between hot or loud as my room overlooked busy roads and the train line, and there didn't seem to be a/c. Curtains did little to block out the light. I would have appreciated more breakfast options, but this is probably just me being picky and not german.

Review 11：Breakfast is a little pricey at 5 Euro a person considering what you get and the selection was. We elected to walk to the nearby train/bus station for breakfast instead.
Review 12：We were in Giessen on and off for 2 weeks and stayed at several hotels during the Giessen portions of the trip so can vocalize an opinion about this subject. This one was our favorite hotel in Giessen because it was close to the train/bus station, was extremely affordable, was nice and modern and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Review 13：The noise is impossible for me, so I will not stay again. you can hear every door from 6-7am and cant sleep. If you are an early riser or can sleep regardless of noise, I recommend it and get value for money. If you are like me and need relative quiet to sleep, not so great. Btw; single room with a single bed is not so single. The bed is quite big in the single room.

Review 15：The staff, even though they were very nice in the morning, asked for my name and my room number and wanted to see the keys every evening when was going back to my room. They even asked me once if I was departing from the hotel when I was going out for a coffee early in the morning as if I was leaving without paying. It felt like a dorm reception. Also, It's not their fault but there is a noisy bar next door and in the evenings, it maybe too noisy to sleep for some.
Review 16：The location was excellent. Close to the university and the marketplace. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything was proper, and you find all you expect. Nothing more nothing less.
