Review 4：If you are visiting Giessen, you will enjoy your stay at the Parkhotel Sletz. I didn't know what to expect when I reserved our room, but I can say I was pleasantly surprised by everything we experienced. The rooms are really nice and spacious, with large clean bathrooms. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff was very nice and helpful. Good onsite parking and located within easy walking distance of the downtown. I was stationed in Giessen in the 60's (Rivers Barracks) so I thought it would make a nice ending for our trip to Germany (easy drive to FRA aiport). It ended up being a nice visit even though everything has changed so dramatically, there was very little "nostalgia" to the trip. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our visit and can heartily recommend this hotel to others.
Review 5：I worked at the university and the hotel was quite far from it, but I am not sure if its location is too distant in relation to other parts of the town. Giessen is a rather small town and walking is not a problem.

Review 8：Room 10 was very big & comfortable. The bathroom has been recently renovated and the shower was spacious with a great shower head. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Parking in a garage for our car also. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
