Review 1：In the bathroom was to hot and there was a lack of possibility to decrease the temperature.

Review 2：everything was very nice, I mean : rooms, service, location and great people who work at the reception.

Review 3：Good location close to main square. Receptionist very welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable with kitchenette. Off street parking available, bit of a squeeze though. Access is 1.9m. Good breakfast.

Review 4：Our room at the front of the pension on the 1st floor was very noisy with trams and party goers. The sink was partly blocked and some of the light did not work. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Given our stays in other regional hotels in the area, this was overpriced.

Review 6：No air con and noise of trams to 11pm and started at 5am. Was very hot and needed windows open so teams woke us each day. No microwave. No English TV.

Review 8：Weak almost non existent wifi, my antiquated tv didn't work at all to start with( do they not check these things?), then after the helpful girl in reception tried her best to fix it I could get one channel. The chairs provided are unstable and fit only for the tip, the owners would not use them in their own homes so why do they think they are ok for paying guests? The curtains are on old rusty rings and need updating. The ancient fridge also makes a huge racket at random times during the night making sleep difficult. You have to prearrange a breakfast time, but after waiting 15 minutes after my prearranged time I had to seek out someone in reception to finally proVide my breakfast as I sat amongst tables with other uncleared breakfast debris . it is a shame as this could be a nice place, but clearly the owners do not really care to provIde guests with a good experience, they just want the money. Olomouc is a nice quiet friendly place to visit, but I would advise you do not spoil your trip by staying here and choose to stay elsewhere.

Review 10：I thought it was strange when the receptionist asked me exactly what and what precise time I wanted breakfast. Anyway I ordered eggs and ham and in the morning I was presented with an excellent 4 egg mixed with ham feast and it wasn't done as an omelette more fried egg style. It had been freshly cooked.

Review 12：We were in one of the apartments and I was impressed of the size and how spacy it was. Literarily an apartment for living even. I also liked how sunny it was. The WiFi in the room is absolutely perfect, there was even a medium size kitchen included, so one could prepare lunch an dinner easily. The staff is incredibly nice, very helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was also quite OK.

Review 17：If loud noises ruin your sleep make sure to avoid street-facing rooms. I do not usually have trouble sleeping but trams passing by make really excessive noise early in the morning. But generally the experience was positive :)

Review 24：no elevator, the entrance to private parking is quite narrow (I think 1,90 wide cars won't drive through - didn't try with my Alfa Romeo 159) - but this is not such a big problem, because there are enough places on the street (just remember to buy the ticket)

Review 29：We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our studio for 4 people was very clean, spacious and very quiet with comfortable beds and sitting area. Breakfast was good and a good value.The hotel is located very close to the city center and tram stop. It is a very easy transfer from the main train station to the hotel via a number of different trams.The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We needed a car for a day and she located and contacted a local car rental agency and set up the rental for us. Since our ability to speak Czech was limited, her ability to speak english helped greatly in making the rental arrangements. Olomouc is a beautiful city and we will visit again and when we do we will stay at Pension U Jakuba.

Review 30：Reception, very disappointing breakfast with the worst coffee ever, they did not clean the room unless you asked for it, which was annoying due to the open trash cans in the apartment. Trams come by every ten minutes and then it sounds like they are inside the apartment. With the windows closed you didn't hear the trams very well, but it was really hot, and there was no other way to cool the place. WiFi was unreliable. Only Czech television channels available. No one asked us how our stay was upon leaving, so we couldn't tell anyone about all these annoyances.

Review 65：The problems with parking. The hotel parking is possible only for up to 190 cm wide car (small ones) and all the parking places in the centre are limited for 2 hours. You can use the parking houses (cca 10 Euro per day, 10 minutes walking-distance).

Review 71：Big room. Bathroom with a lot of privacy as it is not right beside thebed which unfortunately happens in many other hotels. We enjoyed thebreakfast because it was "swedish table". However, when thereare few guests in the pension, the breakfast is "continental"(the guests have to choose between 3 or 4 options of meal).
