Review 1：Although a bus service is available a short walk away, if you prefer to walk into town then allow at least 15 to 20 minutes each way.

Review 2：Plenty of free parking and the GPS coordinates were very accurate. Staff spoke English well (along with several other languages) and were friendly & approachable. The room was a brilliant blend of hotel and apartment with a small kitchen area to use if you don't want to eat out. The inclusive breakfast was perfect and catered to a variety of tastes. It was well set out and the ability to order a coffee of your choosing added a more personal touch to breakfast. We would definitely stay here again, and for the price, comfort, and cleanliness you can't go wrong!

Review 26：Nice bright, big room for 4 people; very friendly staff; delicious breakfasts. (The ladies of the waitstaff were so attentive, so great!) Nice that there was free wi-fi, and we also were very happy with the bus passes provided to us upon check-in. This enabled us to move around the city very easily and inexpensively!

Review 27：After reception working hours nobody was there to clean the snow and remove ice. Especially, at the side door which is for persons with kinetic problems. Also, not enough light at this entrance. For the same reason (no body was cleaning it) the parking area was unsafety for the cars as a lot of the foreign customers didn’t use winter tires and were dangerous slipping nearby the other cars.

Review 29：The location is perfect - 10 min walking to city centre. The receptionist was very friendly - he helped to park the car, explained what to see in the centre, he was very passionate about Konstanz. The facilities are really very good.

Review 30：The location was a little way out from the old town. Not an issue if you have a car. One can also reach the old town within minutes by taxi or buses.

Review 31：The family room sleeps 4 comfortably. It was huge and very clean. The high ceilings and tall windows were amazing! Frank at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Helped us book a cab and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner in the old town.

Review 35：The area on fist arrival can appear unwelcoming due to a bit of graffiti but it's not a bad area. really handy for the buses into town which are included in your 2 Euro a day city tax that you pay and also just a 5 minute stroll to the large kaufland supermarket. staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and accomodatjng and the breakfast is of a high standard with plenty of choices

Review 36：The rooms need to have "black out"! When you sleep, there is a curtain, but in the morning, then the light comes out, so you can't sleep longer! Staff starts cleaning Really early in the morning, so it becomes a bit noisy!! Slightly pricy for a 3 star hotel, especially during this time of the year. I would say I would have preferred to pay a bit less, but then again it was a one night stay, and we managed.

Review 37：Spacious Room and clean! There is a kitchen inside the room, but we didn't use it... Staff is kind, the beds are big and comfortable. The breakfast had great coffee selection...a decent, good breakfast, choices and selection of buffet. Wonderful host, Frau Meisner is pure delight and thoughtful and kind!!! Location very near Lago/Shopping Center, only 5 minutes drive. Parking option is very generous and good. Overall, it is a nice facility - it used to be a an "army base" so they converted to a hotel...so everything is organized in that format. The entire experience felt a little bit like being in an upscale dormatory...and like I said, we managed to just sleep one night!!

Review 45：the rooms are huge, plus ours had basic self-catering facilities. Hotel receptionist was very helpful and the 'free' bus pass you get if you stay 2 days is incredibly useful as Konstanz is much bigger than you might think.

Review 46：This is an old converted military barracks, but in the style of a sturdy building with high ceilings, wide corridors and lots of space. We found this place looking for a room for a family of three, and had a very nice room facing the back courtyard. Our room was huge! Large windows, quiet, good ventilation, apartment style with mini kitchen, sitting area and our own bath. Seems to cater to business travelers and groups touring by bicycle, including families. Location is good, not too far from a market and you can walk into old town of Konstanz across the pedestrian bridge in about 10-15 minutes. Very neat and clean building throughout. Staff were quite helpful, especially at reception. Highly recommended for stays of more than one night and quite reasonably priced. Breakfast was nicely prepared, with good egg dishes, ample coffee, and fresh fruit provided. All on all, a great place to stay for a couple of days.

Review 88：The building looks old and a bit tired, and "the lift" can barely accommodate two persons with their luggage. It has the feel of a building converted to a hotel rather than one built as a hotel. That being said, the down side is more than compensated for by the up sides.

Review 105：Hotels position in the city. Set in a residential estate of apartment type buildings (flats). Graffiti on may local walls, untidy streets. We felt we would not want to walk the local streets after dark but we did not feel threatened at any time during daylight hours.

Review 112：The hotel was clean and neat, the room really lovely - spacious, hugebeds, a comfortable dining table, small kitchen (four electric ringsthough no oven, kettle, well-equipped with crockery, cuttlery, pans,etc). There's a shopping centre at the end of the street with asupermarket and plenty of shops in the area. It didn't take too longto walk from the station, although we could have easily taken a bus -there seems to be very good public transport services in the area. Thestaff were friendly. The buffet breakfast was generous.

Review 115：The location isn't central - there's no local cafe's at the front door - but that's the trade off for the massive rooms. It's a quiet street, and Konstanz is quite small so the trip into the 'Altstadt' is only 5mins in a taxi. The selections at breakfast were nice but pretty limited.

They have the vibe of old school classrooms converted into hotel rooms, which I supsect is what they are. :-) The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and has a proper bath, and there is also a fully-equipped kitchen with two hotplates in each room. I travelled with a group on business, so I saw 4 of the rooms and all were equally clean and nice. It's not something for a romantic get-away, but very good for a family on a budget. There's also off-street parking.

Review 119：Quick 5 minute drive to center makes it a little far to walk. Website posted a 9pm close for reception. We arrive shortly after 8 and they were closed. We could not understand the sign on door which was in German. Luckily some German guests were arriving as we did and they read the sign for us and let us use their cell phone to call manager. Manager was very nice and told us how to get into lock box to get key after hours. All went well but we would have been lost without help.

Review 120：My room was huge, the biggest in my three week trip to Germany & Austria. The room has a seperate kitchen, bath and a living area. It reminded me of an apartment, not a hotel room. The room was spotless and breakfast was wonderful. Free parking was plentiful. The room was somewhat dated but that was part of the charm. It was very relaxing. If I am in Konstanz again I will definitely go back.

Review 121：All the hotel is very quiet and extremely clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was well equipped (also for cooking in the room) and very comfortable. Breakfast is very rich, even for us as vegans.
