Reviews for Hotel Mont.Lac
Review 1:It was not the owner's fault, there was construction work on the street taking place. However, an apologetic word would have been welcome or a free drink.
Review 2:Great view on the Lake, spacious room and an amazing shower! The sauna and pool were a nice bonus after a long day of walking!
Review 3:Excellent hotel and location. Our room had a huge balcony facing the lake and was spacious with a good sized bathroom with bathtub. It had an indoor pool and sauna (real nice!). A real treat since we were doing the TMB, it was easy to get back on the trail!
Review 4:Limited services for an expensive stay
Review 5:Check in is 4pm by 4:20 no one opened the door so we asked a man fishing on the lake to call and finally a nice woman came to let us in. She lives on site but wasn't in a hurry to let in two weary, cold travelers backpacking the Haute Route on time. Otherwise the place is a tiny boutique hotel with limited services and only 3 hotel rooms. The rest are apartments.
Review 6:Great to have a pool and sauna after a very hard day on the haute route. Dinner was extremely tasty, one of the best of the two weeks. Owner was very friendly and helpful, even encouraged us to take food from breakfast for picnic lunch. Good views of lake.
Review 7:The reception does not work 24 hours.
Review 8:The hotel is very new, clean, cozy, the personel is very kind and the hotrl's ammenities are very good. Excellent cost benefit, I recommend it!
Review 9:Spacious and modern rooms, very good breakfast, nice indoor pool, friendly and accommodating staff, and great location across the street from the lake. This might be the best hotel value in Switzerland!
Review 10:Would expect a richer breakfast and some more items in the room with regard to the price.
Review 11:A four rooms hotel located on an enchanted lake trapped between the ridges of the Alps. Managed by a young couple Ann and Angelo with exceptional courtesy and pleasant. Outstanding view, clean and country style furniture.
