Situated on a hillside above Bad Hofgastein, directly on a slope of the Schlossalm Ski Area, Das Goldberg provides elegant rooms with free WiFi and a balcony. A wellness centre and a a fine restaurant serving Austrian cuisine await you on site.
The bright rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows, a flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar and a sofa bed. The furniture is made of high-quality materials and the bathrooms are fitted with a hairdryer. Some rooms feature a rain shower, others come with a free-standing bathtub and there are also rooms with a bathtub on the balcony.
The Goldberg’s spa area comprises a heated indoor swimming pool, different saunas, a steam bath, and an outdoor hot tub. You can also sunbathe on the terrace or in the garden which also comes with a swimming pond.
A breakfast buffet is served daily. Afternoon snacks and dinner are available in the restaurant overlooking Bad Hofgastein. You can also rent bicycles on site and buy ski passes. Guided hiking tours are organised during summer.
A storage room for ski equipment is a further feature of the Goldberg hotel. Free private parking is possible at the property.

Review 1：Dinners; some of the combinations of flavours were very odd, bland, only looking good on paper. Like grilled fish served in an inch of watery liquid. Usually the starters we feared most. The cutlery was often not washed properly.

Review 27：We (3 couples) arrived early morning and filled out the papers with names and so on and asked when we could have the rooms. We were told that we could get the key to our room at 03.00 pm maybe before. Then we went skiing and were back at the hotel 02.30 pm but had to wait in the lobby untill 04.00 pm!!! before we got the key. We were very disappointed and did not receive any explanation or excuse.

Review 28：The room was perfect. We had a room with a bathtub. The food was very fine - especially the breakfast. The staff was generally very nice. The outdoor pool and spapool were wonderfull.

Review 30：This was our first time in Bad Hofgastein. Location is great. The hotel is new and the design is very nice. The entire staff provided us with an excellent service during our one week stay. We had half-board, and the food was very good with fixed menus. Two days a week the offer a buffet. The spa and pool area is so nice and we really enjoyed it. It is very easy to get to the ski area and you can easily visit the other ski areas in the Gasteinertal.
