Reviews for CUBE Lodges Berlin Mitte

Review 1:It would have been utterly fabulous if the cubes had their own bathroom connected, private...

Review 2:The random beach setting on a more than cold trip to Berlin, just made me so happy, took my mind away....

Review 3:Don't go over Christmas, no staff working and is a bit dangerous to be there on your own. Wifi wasn't working. Very basic and central but definitely only a place to visit in summer.

Review 4:Horrific lack of place. Heating located on the ceilinig which makes unbearable hot on the upper beds and very cold down by lower beds at the same time.

Review 5:Rooms are too small, Bathroom is too far away(not so clean, and with NO door!!!!! In fact anyone could get in without a key), The reception is not always opened, you have to phone the staff by yourself, or try to find him in the 'Cube area', as stated on the paper outside the reception NO WIFI in all the rooms!!!we have to go to the lounge to get the wifi signal.. It's probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had

Review 6:Luggage storage... That's the only 'service' they have

Review 7:Soundproof was terrible. There was a family sleep next to my cabin at the first day, and their kid cried sometimes. The last day was Sat, there's a beach bar/party next to the hostel, which played the music so loudly till 4:30am! I can't sleep very well at that night. Wifi is very terrible too

Review 8:Location is really great. Cabin and bathroom are clean.

Review 9:We visited when it was pretty cold, and although the cube's size made it inherently cozy, for some reason the heater is placed on the ceiling, so all the hot air just goes straight up and out instead of warming the room. The cube walls themselves are pretty thin and some of them are placed quite close together, so at night you feel a bit too intimate with the couple next door...

Review 10:It's a nice concept, and the facilities were better than I expected. Good showers that were toasty warm (though they could have been a bit cleaner), wifi reached all the way back to the fence (though it stopped working on our last night there), and the cube was comfortable (though it could be a little bit bigger... not much room for luggage or standing up inside).

Review 11:The internet didn't work properly, the bathroom could be cleaner, and design could be more like the rest of the object.

Review 12:I really like the concept of room in cubes, localisation is very good, everything looks modern. Price is very good.

Review 13:The good, comes with the 'bad'. The facilities are perfectly fine, but you should expect a camping setting. You don't have a own toilet or shower, it's just the cube that you have for yourself. But this is fair, as it's cheap!

Review 14:It's relatively cheap, although being located in the center of Berlin!

Review 15:There wasn't a thing that I didn't like.

Review 16:I loved the staff and the CUBE itself, it was very cozy and lovely and just awesome in general. Had a great chat with the staff and enjoyed a nice beer. It had the greatest Christmas feeling about it. And I would love to return there in the summer time.

Review 17:The heating behaved a bit strangely. It was set to a certain temperature, showed a different one and feel-like was also different. But the cube was warm enough even during late November nights, so no problem there.

Review 18:The cubes are very basic and small - that's ideal when you need only a place to sleep in Berlin, but are in the city otherwise. Reception is large and cozy with friendly staff

Review 19:The wifi doesn't work properly, ques in the bathroom for taking a shower, lack of the soap in the toilet.

Review 20:The staff, the price and location are very good.

Review 21:Cubes are VERY small. There wasn't many people around and staff were hard to find if you didn't show up at the exact time to check-in. The place was deserted and the rain, cold and grey weather together with the fake beaches and closed bars gave the whole place a weird feeling. Might be better in the summer but if it was crowded the cubes would definitely not be sound proof. Our cube took over 5 hours to warm up with the heating on the highest setting. Our luggage was soaking wet and the only place to put it is on one of the beds... not the best for this time of year.

Review 22:Interesting concept. Looks like it might be a fun a place to be in summer. Shower/washrooms were clean and warm.

Review 23:Wifi only works at reception and then only if they give you access to the admin network. Toilets in converted containers using cheap bathroom parts, Only 2 ladie's and 2 men's showers for +- 72 beds, be ready to queue in mornings, Also never very clean. Cube is so small there is only 1m on one side of the bed, partner needs to climb over you if they need to get out of bed Charge 1.5e to hire towel but no where to hang the in the room. Build on converted beach volley ball courts, sand gets everywhere1

Review 24:WiFi was not strong or stable.

Review 25:It provided me with an impressive and amazing experience, and the idea of it is very fresh. The inside is so cute and warm. The environment is very good if you prefer nature and quietness.

Review 26:Advertised with Wi-fi. Certainly none anywhere near the accomadation. Wi fi occasional at bar area. I needed wi fi to arrange onwards travel and accomadation, caused huge disruption for me.

Review 27:Cubes are immaculate and quirky

Review 28:The sound of volley balls consistently but it stops at 10pm. Would have been very hot room in the summer.

Review 29:Really great idea, right near transit in an excellent location for seeing Berlin, lots of people around, very comfortable private rooms.

Review 30:we can not use the wifi in our room

Review 31:the room is quite new and clean, it is a good place, it's like a sport center , and only a few rooms for living, a lot of people are playing happily......

Review 32:Wifi didn't work the whole weekend; no bathroom at the room

Review 33:New room concept

Review 34:Dobble room a little bit narrow in cold season.

Review 35:Very friendly and helpfull staff. Own little house for ourselfs. Very interesting area.

Review 36:openminded staff, oriented to solve every issues we had, it was awsome few days there

Review 37:Not enough showers for the amount of rooms. Don't forget to bring a towel!

Review 38:Great location and perfect for a cheap night out in Berlin.

Review 39:there is no wifi and no enough shower

Review 40:Poor internet, only at the recieption, wc and shower are outside

Review 41:Very Clear, temperature control

Review 42:No Wi-Fi in the house area.

Review 43:No Wo-Fi in the room.

Review 44:Wi-if doesn't work at all.

Review 45:Cheap and very close from the train and metro station is a very good option.

Review 46:Loved the location in Mitte, easy to get around near public transport and shops.

Review 47:bathroom was so far and location is not convenience

Review 48:breakfast room was good

Review 49:the room is small with cheap decorations, not comfortable at all. Poor wifi and the location is also not that ideal.

Review 50:Nice staff and cool beach clubs.

Review 51:Poor wifi connection

Review 52:Location was perfect for tube and team connections. The cubes were fun

Review 53:That day wifi was not worked.

Review 54:It was super. Everybody speak English. Hotel is near the center. They have free wifi.

Review 55:We tried to find the hotel for hours :(

Review 56:The cubes were really sweet

Review 57:There is no air-conditioning. So in afternoon, it is really hot.

Review 58:Super good place in the heart of Berlin
